Directions are not well worded to assist with this. I just make both circles 200’ and the large circle 359degrees and eliminate the odd shape. I usually forget ed t to set at anchor drop so I put in degrees to anchor and distance my chain is out, otherwise the alarm goes off constantly. ### 2/5 — Sailboat *2026-06-25, version 2.7* Does not work well for a sailboat anchored with 140’ of anchor rode as it swings around the anchor ### 3/5 — Works but cost just doubled *2026-04-24, version 2.7* I have had the App for about 5 years. Use it and another together for redundancy. There were no updates since 2022 but I kept my subscription as $4.99 wasn’t much. Today I got an email saying cost is increasing to $9.99 … looked at the version history and they did 2 small updates in 4 years. This was included in the pro version, but they have since taken it behind a subscription. Highly recommend. I have been using the app since we moved aboard about 2 years ago. I love the improvements especially the ability to use a previous anchor and then view the last 24 hours for the many times I have erroneously shut down the program. I have a much easier time sleeping knowing that this alarm will alert me if we are dragging. I highly recommend this and it even works out of cell range since it works on GPS and not cell or wifi service. Very disappointing ### 1/5 — Stops updating when phone put down *2026-05-25, version 2.7* New major bug. If I put my phone down on a table, the app stops updating the Current Position & crucially the Anchor distance. 100% repeatable. After my subscription was processed the GPS now updates at random intervals. I did notice if I wiggle my device then the GPS will update constantly. I emailed support and never got a response. I’m canceling my subscription. What a joke! ### 1/5 — Simply doesn’t work *2024-08-19* I bought this several weeks ago to offer an additional layer of support when at anchor. I have now on several occasions used this product and found it doesn’t work consistently, often freezing my position while I am clearly moving, send no alarm signal for either moving outside the set radius or a for a lost GPS. All this while follow the directions- -new iPhone 15 -location services on ‘’Always”’, -app was the only one running -Lock Screen - ‘Never’ -device plugged into charger (88% charge) It worked nicely for a couple hours but I began to notice the boat was swinging with a wind shift but the app showed no motion. I double checked with my main Raymarine plotter - and the track there clearly showed me swinging but Anchor Pro map view was stationary. I toggled to the main screen and it shows me 87.3 feet from my anchor (not moving) last gps - 0 seconds. I picked up the iPhone and walked 25 feet to the stern of the boat - still showing 87.3 feet. I manually brought up my iPhone Home Screen, selected the Anchor Pro App and when the map screen came up the location dot immediately moved 45 degrees clockwise and backwards towards the swing limit. The main screen registered me 110.1 feet. Through the course of that night and the next day I saw similar behavior a number of times. While the app showed no movement, my chartplotter and my own eyes told a different story. I’d bring up the Home Screen for a moment, bring up Anchor Pro and watch my location indicator jump wildly to a new location. The next morning, we hauled anchor and started on our way to the next location. As we slowly let the anchorage I watched as Anchor Pro’s little pulsing dot didn’t move at all. About a quarter mile away I flipped to my Home Screen, back to Anchor Pro and the dot rocketed to the east and the alarm went off. Too little too late. This app cannot be trusted. ### 1/5 — Poor quality *2024-08-04, version 2.4* Application minimaliste. Très peu de fonctionnalités même dans la version payante.
