Boy, was kid me dumb. Thank god I never reached level 40+, because those are so hard that they make me wanna pull out my eye-cords, with the eyes still attached, skip rope with them and launch them away. For glory let me fight is a real quote from the game. The game ramps up difficulty so fast that not even the amount of gold you get for beating a level is enough to catch up unless you give one character the upgraded item. A lot of items and skills are added only to trick you into spending the already limited gold forcing you to buy more gold for real cash. once you unlock the third character yue you can solo the game with her. Just buy yue's multi arrow skill and xino's final blizzard attack and that's the whole game. I'm on the final dungeon I think and I miss everything with 100% accuracy so I raged quit. Doesn't help that monsters randomly scale to your level either. You will be hitting an enemy for 5000, beat the level and hit replay and all of a sudden you are only hitting them for 3750. I used to play this everyday with my friend as a kid. Such a great game, I come back every few years and play it again and feel happy and nostalgic. I am 20 years old now. It's simplicity allows you to play for a few minutes or a few hours and not have to worry about remembering what you were doing if you have a prolonged absence from it. I love it. Before it was impossible at a certain point but now that isn't the case.
