I rarely review but I saw there were no reviews of this app soI decided to give it a try. I don't know much Greek (never saw any classes offered for it where I live - I am from California) but I really like how it lays out all the grammatical forms and explains it so that I can slowly make my way through the programs!

I have downloaded other Ancient Greek apps - one has vocabulary flash cards, another has a dictionary and collections of epic poems and plays in their original Greek, and this completes the set by explaining the grammar, so I am very pleased. Going to read Euripides one word at a time!

I do wish there were some audio function so I could make sure I was pronouncing things right - not that anyone can truly pronounce Ancient Greek nowadays, but I may be extremely off and I don't know.

A useful app covering all aspects of ancient greek.  Hope you keep developing this app, but already a good start.

This is not for the beginner or faint hearted! But it is very comprehensive for the advanced learner, a good way to remind yourself on subtle points. If you don't already know what Optative means, probably not for you, as there's no glossary.

This is a great app for reference or as a refresher (I've been using it to revisit Greek after studying it in school a few years ago). Those without any background in the language may need something more extensive, but this app in combination with traditional instruction and/or a quiz app to test your progress, can be really helpful. I especially like the selections from famous Ancient Greek writers.

This app could possibly be for advanced language students, but I couldn’t even understand the English terms used in the lessons. And a total lack of examples.
Definitely not for beginners.

**Developer response:** Hi, as I have already written to you by email, I can confirm that the app is designed as a support for students, even those starting from scratch.  Grammar topics start from Greek alphabet... Unfortunately this does not mean that studying Ancient Greek will be easy. You will need a dictionary and probably other resources to deal with. I'm sorry you don't like the app. The good news is that I will integrate it with a workbook feature in the future. Kind regards, Giovanbattista

More an exhaustive reference for experts. Learners ( like me) will find the level of detail overwhelming

English grammar is weak in a number of places

Special character handling ditto , eg changes due to augment when preceding a vowel often appear as ε α á η for example where the á presumably should be something like a right arrow (this is on iOS)

Too many issues. I’m going to look for something else

Lezioni complete, ricche ed esaustive, ma al contempo accessibili e interessanti.
Per non parlare della sezione “Versioni”, che è, a mio avviso, insieme alla chiarezza espositiva di “Lezioni” e “Grammatica”, ciò che mi ha portato a preferire una semplice app (che semplice non è affatto!) a numerosi video su piattaforme varie come YouTube, o addirittura ad alcuni testi di grammatica e annessi eserciziari.

E se lo dice uno studente di ingegneria, che, prima di qualche mesetto fa, aveva ZERO conoscenze di , o addirittura interesse nello studio del, greco… allora vuol dire che stiamo parlando di un OTTIMO strumento di apprendimento.

Complimenti agli sviluppatori/traduttori/grecisti.
Uno dei migliori acquisti (costa praticamente zero per ciò che offre) di tipo educativo che abbia mai fatto.
