### 2/5 — Glitches in the app

*2026-08-07, version 2.15.0*

Recently bought the charger and charger to the app is a nightmare. The app offers solar integration and also allows supplement with grid power. If I make a change in the settings it may takes a day or two to apply the changes. Also it automatically log me out and slow when log in. Please Anderson fix it 🙏

### 2/5 — Good charger, awful app

*2026-08-03, version 2.15.0*

The app has limited features and frequently loses credentials. When I request a password reset it still doesn’t log me in. With a few tweaks it could be ok but is currently not fit for purpose.

### 2/5 — App server down

*2026-07-16, version 2.13.0*

It is hard to trust these companies. The cloud based app servers can go down.If the company goes burst like give energy you will be left in limbo with a dumb charger. It may be better to get EV chargers from well established companies like Tesla.

### 2/5 — Not bad but needs some bugs fixing

*2026-05-21, version 2.13.0*

I’ve not long had my Andersen EV charger so still new to the app. My first observation in the app was how the toggle switches are distorted and drop outside the frames (which look like they’ve been hand drawn by a 7 year old) on my iPhone 17 Pro Max. Also, when I’m trying to add my Octopus energy tariff to the app, there’s only about 6 to choose from, whereas on price comparison sites, the drop down list shows Octopus have heaps of legacy tariffs, none of which are listed in the app. As a result I need to add my pricing manually, which you can’t do without selecting one of the tariffs 🤦‍♂️ Just my observations

### 2/5 — Lost connection

*2026-04-19, version 2.13.0*

Sadly it’s decided to go into stupid mode. It’s stuck on a WiFi setting even though I go into Bluetooth to edit Andersen A2 unit to my house hold WiFi goes through stand to within 2 metres and I get the unit name select my WiFi setting and then password it decides to revert to the WiFi I was trying to edit.
So I’ve left in stupid mode so I can’t use the times I’ve set up on cheap rate

### 2/5 — Dropping out constantly

*2026-02-01, version 2.12.4*

Over the last few days my Andersen A2 charger keeps dropping out of WiFi even though ther is great signal strength by the unit on my phone app and every time I ensure connection by editing the password section to ensure it’s working by blue tooth to my iPhone I’m not very impressed for a unit cost and only 5 years old.

I have resorted to the original Konnect app and this has been perfect so I’ll continue to use this app as I trust it 99.9%. I’m expecting a Kia EV5 so may reload the new Andersen app if the wifi bugs have been rectified
Just still using Konnect App which works. I re opened this new app after resting it for two weeks and I got that same email Your Andersen unit lost cloud cover check your internet!!!!!!!!!
I’m going to delete altogether as it still failing on connection.
I’ll use Konnect App which hasn’t failed

### 3/5 — Dropping out constantly

*2026-01-22, version 2.12.4*

### 3/5 — Update causing problems

*2026-01-15, version 2.12.4*

Since updating the app a couple of days ago I am getting constant email alerts that the charger has been disconnected from the house WiFi which is rock steady and not disconnecting anything else

### 2/5 — Stopped working

*2025-11-29, version 2.11.3*

Not sure what’s happened with the app, but the scheduling function doesn’t work properly anymore. You struggle to set or edit a schedule, then even if you delete a schedule the charger doesn’t start charging. This app really needs an urgent update.

### 2/5 — Poor

*2025-11-29, version 2.11.3*

Hardware is fine - software no real updates in years, often times out - no notification.

### 3/5 — Normally good, but currently flawed

*2025-11-26, version 2.11.3*

The latest app update means I can no longer access the app or my data, which I use for expenses claims. This is frustrating for a premium product.

### 1/5 — Andersen

*2025-11-22, version 2.11.3*

Slow and complicated app

### 1/5 — Update caused app to crash

*2025-11-19, version 2.11.3*

Since the app update yesterday I can no longer log in to the app. It’s trying to use facial recognition and just won’t work as it has done before the update. Please correct the errors asap!

### 3/5 — Not the best

*2025-10-30, version 2.10.2*

I get a message about an update almost at least once a week. I can’t use the app without accepting the update as the message blocks out the ‘Save’ button when editing a schedule. There are no notes saying what’s in the update. How bad must there software be to warrant such frequent updates? Also the fonts and text alignment aren’t consistent which makes it look aesthetically amateurish.

### 2/5 — Charge now

*2025-10-03, version 2.10.2*

Very annoying evening trying to set up this charger.

The schedules are set. I have adjusted the to the current time but can’t get charging to start even though the time is within the schedule.

Went online to find out there is a charge now button on the app. I have spent an hour looking at a very basic page and there is no charge now button. If there is they have done an excellent job of hiding it.

I have no battery. Schedule doesn’t start charging within that schedule and no charge now button.

Over complicated app.

Just let me decide if I want to charge the car and make it obvious how to do it. Really wanna hit the thing with a hammer

### 3/5 — Usable, needs more improvements

*2025-09-29, version 2.10.2*

Usable, provides necessary details you need, but

UI/UX requires a complete revamp, unnecessary tabs and questions.

No widgets which certainly can be very helpful.

Considering the sleek design if the hardware which I think is the best in the market, the app is no where near it.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not user friendly and dated design

*2026-08-15, version 2.15.0*

Really struggling to use the app and also very dated design.

### 1/5 — Buggy app

*2026-07-16, version 2.13.0*

This app is extremely buggy, will not let me log in as keeps saying invalid credentials since last night. Suspect a server is down

### 1/5 — Update Issues

*2026-07-05, version 2.13.0*

I love my Andersen charger but the latest version of the app causes me so many issues. I had the charger set to charge at certain times but can no longer sign in (despite going through the forgot pwd process) so have been in situations where I cannot use my car as have no power and it’s not the time I set to charge the car. I should be able to override this but cannot sign in to do this. Please correct this Andersen! Otherwise a brilliant project.
I will update my review once fixed.

### 1/5 — Charger and app

*2026-05-02, version 2.13.0*

Useless

### 1/5 — Still terrible

*2026-04-02, version 2.13.0*

Awful and unreliable app. Poor customer service who fail to call back or even email back. Ongoing issue for months and because they can’t seem to fix your issue they just ignore you. Absolutely woeful for a company that charges the most for their wallboxes.
Now my box seems to be losing WiFi connection even though there are no WiFi issues. It looks like I am going to have to throw the box away and use a different company.

### 1/5 — Still not working

*2026-02-13, version 2.12.4*

3 months on and the app remains absolute junk. Still not fixed. If I set a schedule I am still getting errors about conflicting schedules despite there being only one. I switch on or off the schedule and it does not show on the home page. After 5-10 mins it then shows a change and after another 5-10 mins it states it is offline. Then at some point later it thinks it is connected to the car when it isn’t. Despite this I have tried using the timer in the car and then the car charges outside of the hours scheduled - BMW are staying the charger is doing this. Paying £1000 for a charger and it can’t even do a simple charge is beyond a joke.

### 1/5 — Potential Buyer

*2026-01-10, version 2.12.4*

Well I’ve been on your website recently to purchase Quartz but after reading all the comments which were posted recently I am not even going to buy one. Looks like you not much care about the customer. And the app issues is a big no for me. I am not going to be all the time flustered whenever I want to charge car for such a high price tag. Plus charging extra for SPD is ridiculous. If this is uk regulation you should not charge for such a price.

### 1/5 — The worst

*2025-12-25, version 2.12.4*

The worst app I’ve used I reckon. Pretty non responsive - you need to restart the app multiple times just to set a schedule. Pathetic considering the cost of the charger

### 1/5 — Now useless

*2025-11-23, version 2.11.3*

Since the update I am unable to use the app to charge both of my EVs. One is on the Intelligent Octopus and the other uses the standard 6 hours. I am totally unable to switch between the cars or even get the cars to charge right away. I keep getting the error “There was an issue when trying to enable/disable schedules. Please check no scheduels are overlapping and try again.”

### 1/5 — Poor quality app

*2025-11-22, version 2.11.3*

Unreliable, doesn’t work all the time, not intuitive, and has difficulty working with certain makes and models of car. Very disappointing that I am now stuck with it having paid for instalment at my home.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — New EV Car Owner

*2025-11-24, version 2.11.3*

As a first time ev owner having driven auto petrol cars for many years I was apprehensive about home charging using this app. Pleasantly surprised and relieved it was easy to set up and schedule charging periods to maximise off peak rates and review costs.

### 5/5 — Does it’s job well

*2025-09-25, version 2.10.2*

Works well. I like that it shows the house total consumption as well as car charging. I use the app to do all my EV scheduling rather then the cars app as it works so well. The graphical and typography design are a little old fashioned, but that’s trivial.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2025-03-27, version 2.4.1*

I love the app and it functions perfectly for charging my EV. By the sounds of it, a lot of the issues in previous reviews have now been fixed, as I haven’t experienced any issues

### 5/5 — Great app with great features

*2024-08-14, version 2.3.2*

A really nice app with some great features such as scheduling and being able to download reports on your charging!

### 5/5 — Nice improvement

*2024-07-01, version 2.2.1*

It’s a nice improvement on the old Konnect app. Looks and feels more modern, also seems more responsive. Shame to lose the tab which shows current grid/solar load though, be great if that could be brought back.

Edit: Thank you for the response. Don’t know how I missed that - it’s perfect.

### 5/5 — Great addition

*2024-06-17, version 2.2.1*

I have had my Anderson charger for a good 6 months and have only had one minor issue - turns out my WiFi wasn’t strong enough to talk to the charger! Since I got myself a WiFi extender, I’ve had no problems at all. App works efficiently. Much better than the old Konnect+. I am able to check my charging costs, link my electricity tariff and schedule my charging. Well done Anderson 🤝

### 5/5 — Much better!

*2024-05-13, version 2.2.1*

Much better than the old Konnect app. I think it’s cleaner and offers better information.

Only issue is the EDF tariffs are not up to date so I had to customise mine.

### 5/5 — Andersen ev app

*2024-03-04, version 2.2.1*

Nice improvement over Konnect app, would be nice to see some customisation available eg colour of your charger, switch between % and miles on charge added etc

### 4/5 — Missing car

*2026-04-02, version 2.13.0*

App is decent, gives a good overview of charging. Usability is good.

Only issue is it doesn’t recognise my car. I have the new Tesla Model Y and it says there are no models for this car, so the app needs to be updated to add these models.

### 4/5 — Limited to one EV

*2025-11-05, version 2.10.2*

Of course it will charge whatever EV is plugged into it. But the Settings panel accepts the details of only one, so without changing it manually from one car to the other, I can’t use the app to generate meaningful usage statistics.

Mine can’t be the only multiple-EV household, so it would be useful to store more than one set of details.
