お客様の大切な「一生涯の住まいづくり」に関わりたいという思いから建築系の学校に進学し、地元の工務店に就職しました。

ですが、実際に働き始めてみると、理想としていたワクワクするような体験というよりは、日々の忙しさに追われ、ミスをしないように、職人さんに怒られないように…と、気を張る毎日が続きました。

どれだけ頑張っても、お客様が意識しているのは営業担当やインテリアコーディネーターばかりで、自分は「現場監督さん」と肩書きで呼ばれるだけ。自分自身が認知されているという実感はなく、ただ言われたことを正確にこなす存在として見られているように感じていました。

そんなとき、「おうちノート」というツールを通じてお客様とコミュニケーションを深めることができるようになり、少しずつ関係性が変化していきました。今では欠かせないツールとなり、この仕事の面白さや、自分がなぜこの道を選んだのかを改めて思い出させてくれました。
