Joke, it said 10 knots but in reality it was 20 knots and gusts of about 25 or more knots. Useless for windspeed. Wind direction was correct, at least.

Thank you for your reply, but what is the sense of a windspeed from a different location? When I am at a certain spot and I want to know weather it is 18 or 25 knots or else, i want to know it for this very spot and not for a spot miles away. So I am sorry, but not useful.

**Developer response:** The wind speed can be different from where you are and the weather station, which may be far from where you are right now. This is why you are getting a different wind speed.
Real anemometers are very large devices, which is why the data is taken from weather stations.
