The wind scale goes up to 180 kn meaning that on a typical day the wind hardly registers on the analog instrument. Thank you for your reply, but what is the sense of a windspeed from a different location? When I am at a certain spot and I want to know weather it is 18 or 25 knots or else, i want to know it for this very spot and not for a spot miles away. So I am sorry, but not useful. **Developer response:** The wind speed can be different from where you are and the weather station, which may be far from where you are right now. This is why you are getting a different wind speed.
