Anesthesia Logs is a case log application designed for the busy anesthesiologist to record billing data and document operative cases. Once start time, base units and have end times have been entered, the app calculates units based on the ASA 15 minute timing interval. Modifiers such as arterial lines, central lines, emergency service, or high ASA classifications are also recorded and values are automatically added to the total RVUs (relative value units. The log is kept securely on the iPhone, and can be exported via email for a backup record in the event the phone is lost, or a hard copy of desired. Entries can be exported via email to Excel, Pages or any application that supports XML. I thought I could check my units generated on the fly. Not so. You need to manually add CPT and RVU neither of which I have committed to memory. Was hoping for a drop down to choose these.
