## What is Anesto?

Log anesthesia cases in seconds. Describe your case by voice or text, hit Log Case, and it saves instantly — Anesto fills in the structured clinical record in the background. Built for attending anesthesiologists, residents, and CRNAs.

FOR ATTENDING PHYSICIANS
Speak naturally or type a brief description — your case saves the moment you log it, and Anesto structures it into a complete record with procedure name, anesthesia type, airway management, monitoring, ASA status, and more. Generate hospital-ready PDF credentialing reports with one tap: every case you performed appears, facility counts are accurate, and any record with a gap is clearly footnoted — credentialers see exactly what happened.

FOR RESIDENTS & FELLOWS
Track your ACGME case log progress in real time. See exactly where you stand against all 15 category minimums with color-coded progress bars, deficit sorting, and rotation coaching insights. Log supervisor names and training-specific case categories automatically. Designed and built by a practicing cardiac anesthesiologist.

FOR CRNAs
The first case logging app built for CRNAs. Tell Anesto how you practice — independent, medically directed, or medically supervised — once, and every case fills it in automatically. Track your cases, sites, and practice setting in one place. Your case history stays with you across jobs and facilities.

HOW AI WORKS
Case descriptions are processed by Anthropic's Claude AI for parsing. Voice recordings are transcribed by Groq's Whisper API. No patient names, MRNs, or identifiable health information is ever sent to these services. AI data sharing requires your explicit in-app consent before activation, and you can enable or disable it at any time from Account settings. Neither service uses your data for model training or retains it beyond processing time.

IN-APP SUPPORT
Have a question or feedback? Message the developer directly from the Account screen via in-app chat (powered by Crisp). Only your email, name, and account ID are shared to route your message — never case or patient data.

### 5/5 — Effective case logging app with a slick UI

*2026-07-23*

As a relatively new anesthesia provider, I find the app to be a good way to independently keep track of the cases that I do. The statistical feature (showing what types of patients/cases that I do anesthesia for) would be particularly useful for future resumes. For actually inputting de-identified, I can just speak into the app as if I'm telling someone everything that I did during the shift, and it intelligently and accurately parses the information into individual cases with usually correct details. That ability of the app is the slickest part, for me.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.6 — 2026-08-15

Anesto now recognizes 300+ procedures and gets the details right the first time - the right anesthetic, airway, and monitoring - without you spelling them out.
~ Staffing logs correctly: say "supervising CRNAs" or "medically supervising" and the case records it.
~ State/type the ASA or the age once for a batch and it applies to every case in it.
~ New "How to dictate" guide - right under the mic, and on the 'Account' page.
~ Supervision options are now full-width and readable when you edit a case.

Fixed some tiny bugs and made other small improvements under the hood.

### 2.5 — 2026-08-03

The biggest Anesto update yet.

- Cases save instantly - type or dictate, hit Log Case, done. Anesto fills in the details in the background.
- Hospital sites, properly: every case records where it happened, switch sites in a tap, and correct the site on existing cases - and sites now appear on your exports.
- CRNAs: pick how you practice - independent, medically directed, or supervised - once, and every case fills it in automatically.
- Milestone moments for your first case, your 10th, your 50th.
- Credentialing PDF, redesigned: every case you performed appears, records with gaps are clearly footnoted, and facility counts are accurate.
- Your existing cases stay as they are - new completeness standards apply to new cases only.
- Plus: change dates on saved cases, a refreshed design, and dozens of small improvements.

Questions? Message me right from the app! I generally answer fast.

### 2.4 — 2026-06-17

This release sharpens how Anesto recognizes and standardizes procedure names, so your cases group more consistently across your history and reports.
We've also made behind-the-scenes improvements to reliability and the overall experience. As always — log a case, tell us how it's going, and reach out anytime from the Account screen. Thanks for using Anesto.

### 2.3 — 2026-06-08

This update makes your case log more accurate and easier to use:

- Progress forecasting: your ACGME progress now shows the pace you need: how many cases per month to hit each minimum by graduation, right on your action items.
- More accurate procedure classification: improved handling of vascular bypass cases so they're categorized correctly.
- Smoother first-time setup: fixed empty-screen buttons so getting started and viewing your full history work as expected.
- Safer site management: deleting a saved location now asks for confirmation first.
- Better voice feedback: short recordings now tell you to hold longer instead of silently disappearing.

Thanks for using Anesto. Questions or feedback? Tap "Chat with Leo" in the app.

### 2.2.1 — 2026-05-29

Small bug fixes and general improvements.
