I have 1Gbps upload, which always works no matter when I test it. The same cameras on other services work perfectly. Other cameras with dedicated services also work fine. See all the other reviews complaining about the same thing. ### 5/5 — Best possible solution at at price *2020-09-13, version 2.3.3* I have been with them for six years. Dependable, high quality service that takes the work out of camera administration. I highly recommend them to new users and old pros. ### 1/5 — Poor design and support *2020-05-13* Added a few cameras with some of them not showing up so I added them again and again but no luck. The next day 4 of the same camera showed up. Ok just delete them right? You would think but there is no delete nor any instructions. Ok contact the support for help - turns out although they claim 2 hr response they don’t respond at all. App is junk just glad it was free! ### 1/5 — Complete waste of time *2020-05-12* This app is a joke. It absolutely does not do as it says. Also, Ring doorbell cameras are not in the list either which I find odd. Meaning don’t waste your time. They instead try to sell you their brand. ### 1/5 — System is garbage *2020-02-13* Using the angel box is fairly simple but viewing through angel cam is horrible. Cameras frequently quit and go offline even though they view other apps just fine. Update: I finally got it working but sadly have to tune the cameras down to their lowest setting possible for frame rates. Seems silly to get a nice clear cam then having to turn it down to its lowest quality to get it to stream. They stream fine on other apps. The customer support is horrendous when I contacted them to help resolve the streaming. After a day I was just sent over to a self help article, which I had already done, and told that “they weren’t a replacement for my IT guys” and to just play with the settings till it worked. I am a private individual, I don’t have an IT dept. As far as the streaming it seems to work ok, at least till I get another option up and running. Their lack of assurance as well as taking over 3 days to respond, shows they really don’t care about the customer. **Developer response:** Hello Daniel, Thank you for your feedback! The limitation in these cases is almost always slow upload on a network where a camera is connected. If you access a camera locally, without Angelcam or any other cloud involved, that you can experience smooth video. Angelcam, compared to apps accessing your camera directly, offers much higher security, provides cloud recording, allows you to share incidents to other users and more. The online interface is simple yet effective for a novice like me. I added the mobile app and was up and running immediately. ### 1/5 — Can’t start *2019-08-15, version 2.1.3* Went to use this for the 1st time. Prompted for email - gave email used for AppStore & password - got a No. Tried ‘forgotten password’ got ‘account not register’. What do I do ? ### 1/5 — New version not working properly *2019-06-15, version 2.1.1* Previous version worked perfectly. New version gives ‘Parse error’. Tried setting up camera again, and reinstalling app. ### 2/5 — Destroy your ISP Data Plan with 3 cams *2019-06-14* I’m not a casual user. I personally manage the second largest single-entity CCTV system in the country (just over 11,000 IP cams and counting). My NAS drive for my home system died just before I went on vacation, so I hit up this service for the time being. I only activated three of my six Axis P3365 cams. First off, the setup for motion detection was not easy. You have to program the functionality on each camera with triggers and emails and getting your sensitivity levels just right and making sure certain ports are open... Next, for sake of bandwidth, Axis cams are all capable of H.264, and running through the Axis VMS on my NAS drive, that works just fine. This app, however, doesn't seem to play well with that functionality. As a result: Recording even just 3 days on 3 cams at 1080 and I’ve absolutely blasted out a hole in my ISP data plan. I had to think for a second about what was causing it because I have five kids (three teens) so at first I thought someone was on a downloading bender. No. Instead its the MJPEG on just three cams. My data usage more than doubled. Let that sink in. Five kids... And here’s the kicker. The resolution is fine, but the FPS completely undermines usefulness unless the motion is moving veeeeerrrry slllloooooowly. My setting is 8 fps, but I might be getting a little less than 1 on the back end. A car traveling at 25mph across my front cam might show up on two frames. Also, no audio functionality. And honestly that’s probably for the best because otherwise who knows. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry for your problems! Regarding sensors connection: We’re aware that setting up your sensors might be difficult. We try to support as many sensor models as possible and as a trade-off, it can take a little more time to set it up.
