## What is Angels Events?

Interactive app for events organised by the Angels Initiative. Ahead of and during the event it lets you access essential information, such as
•	your meeting agenda including your workshop allocation
•	your trainers and presenters
•	who else is there
•	any additional relevant meeting information
The Angels Events app is also an important tool for
•	participating in live polls
•	taking part in evaluations and quizzes
•	connecting with other participants in a private chat
•	sharing your experience in the live feed

### 3.0.0 — 2026-06-10

-We're excited to announce that the app now supports Apple`s new Liquid Glass design system. 
-Adjustments made to support the new workspace dashboard report called Time spent in the app, giving workspace managers clear visibility into how long each attendee actively used the app.
-When scheduling a meeting via the app, meeting organizers are no longer able to create new external participants that use the same email address as an existing participant. This is to prevent the accidental creation of duplicate participants.

- The Universal lead capture module now includes an offline mode, allowing representatives to collect leads even without an internet connection.
This ensures uninterrupted lead capture in environments with limited connectivity. Any data collected offline will automatically sync once the device reconnects.

- We’ve enhanced the filtering system for the event list displayed when launching the mobile app. Filters are now ordered as follows: Ongoing · Future · Past · Testing · All. Count badges have also been added to display the number of events in each category.

- Made various design adjustments to the mobile app user interface, with a focus on accessibility and improved support for screen readers.
- With the Universal lead capture module, for leads captured via OCR lead scanning, app users can no longer see the show image button in the lead profil

-Updates made to support the "Prevent double bookings" functionality for sessions and meetings, when enabled.
- Changes made so the User "Representation" metadata values are now shown when selecting users for meetings in the Appointments module, and so that fields set to "Read-only" in the Appointments module cannot be edited via the app.
- Updates made to support AI-powered automatic field mapping for optical scanning (OCR) lead capture, when enabled using the Universal lead capture module.
- Adjustments made to ensure that, when the "Custom icons color (header / menu)" option is enabled in the theme editor in Backstage, the colors selected there are applied to the "Header" and "Menu" icons in the app.
- Changes made to ensure that the correct background color is fully applied to the profile header background in the app.

### 2.44.1 — 2025-10-20

When enabled, app users can now use the public annotations functionality on PDF documents in order to add their comments and reply to comments from other users.
