However, the accessibility of the app is extremely disappointing. There is little to no support for users who rely on voice accessibility features. Basic functions such as creating a password, logging in, editing schedules, and managing settings become unnecessarily difficult or impossible when using voice control or other accessibility tools. In this day and age, there is no excuse for an app designed for vulnerable and disabled individuals to overlook accessibility to this extent. It feels like people with additional disabilities beyond tracking needs were simply not considered during development. My goal was to give them the kind of independence I had growing up, a childhood full of adventure, but still have the peace of mind that they could reach me if they needed help. I didn’t want to hand them cellphones, so these seemed like great alternatives. Both devices worked really well for us. The AngelSense has been incredibly accurate when it comes to GPS tracking, definitely the best on that front. However, that accuracy comes at a cost. What’s tough for larger families like mine is that you have to pay a separate service fee for each individual child and starting at $50 a month that adds up quickly and just isn’t realistic long-term. The TickTalk watch, on the other hand, has been a much better option cost-wise for multiple children. I truly love the AngelSense product and hope they consider a family plan or multi-child discount in the future. It’s an amazing tool for parents who want to give their kids freedom and stay connected, just needs a little more flexibility for families with more than one adventurer! ### 5/5 — Peace of Mind *2025-10-25, version 3.0.83* This is our first year letting our son ride the school bus daily, and we only felt comfortable doing it because of AngelSense. I can see when he’s in transit, the route, how fast the bus is going, and even check the device’s battery life. Last year coming into this year I had been searching AngelSense because I came across this device on TikTok. I decided to order before the summer started and it has gave me so much peace of mind! I like the app where I can choose the settings on my daughter GPS 4 device. I can choose her schools times so it will be disabled from talking. I can see where she is and if she is in the perimeter I made for her or I will get alerted. This is REAL time!! I can add more people to her device if she is being watching. I also like the accessory options. We do use the cut to fit belt, shorts, waterproof pouch and shirt. It’s so much better than an AirTag — the accuracy alone makes it worth it. My son is nonverbal and tends to elope, so having a device that lets me see his exact location in real time is priceless. No other device I’ve tried comes close to this level of accuracy and peace of mind. During school hours, we disable the voice features, but even then, I can still live-track his location, which is what really matters to me. The app itself works smoothly and is easy to navigate. Their support team was great too — helpful and responsive when I had questions. As for the cost, I think it’s more than fair. It’s about the same as paying for a phone plan — which, honestly, is what this device basically is: a phone for my child’s safety. They also run promotions; I got the device itself for free and just pay the monthly service fee. For what it offers, that price is more than worth it to keep my child safe. If you have a child who is nonverbal, autistic, or at risk of elopement, I can’t recommend AngelSense enough. They are stalling on the return. My deposit. They did not provide a return label although 30 day moneyback guarantee was promoted strongly. Don’t recommend the gadget or the company. Now they’re saying, they may have lost my return which was sent with tracking numbers and ups. ### 1/5 — Scam. *2025-12-02, version 3.0.84* Forced year subscription. This just started so hoping it’s a bug? ### 1/5 — Total scam *2023-11-23* Go with Jiobit instead. I signed up for the trial only for the service to be so spotty here in Los Angeles. They assured me not to cancel the trail, that a new SIM card was on the way and it would work. It didn’t work and they refused to cancel the contract I was automatically put into during this whole ordeal. I’ve asked them to stop billing me $50/month and they refuse to. I explained the situation, with a paper trail to prove and they still could care less and keep charging me. Total sham. This thing has all sorts of bad reviews too. When I select the plan I want it says my session has expired. There is only an option to go back to select the plan again. I do that and it’s the same thing over and over. My son is autistic and nonverbal with little to no safety awareness. I can see his location, I get alerts when he arrives and leaves places and check that he made it to school safely without having someone having to update me. I especially like being able to see his route and know where he is when he’s on the bus, especially on days he’s running late. Angel sense is not something I would have hoped to need, but I am immensely grateful that it exists. If you have a child who is nonverbal, wanders, or just needs that extra level of safety and supervision, I absolutely think this is worth looking into. ### 5/5 — Parent to eloping autistic children *2026-07-28* Our AngelSense device has been one of the best investments we’ve made for our autistic son. One day, he managed to leave the house without us realizing it right away. By the time we found out, he had already made it to an apartment complex down the street. Because he was wearing his AngelSense device, I was able to immediately see his exact location on the app. Even more importantly, I used the alarm feature, and the sound helped get his attention while I made my way to him. Within minutes, I was able to find him safely. As a parent of a child who elopes, nothing compares to the peace of mind AngelSense provides. Knowing I can track him in real time and use features like the alarm during an emergency has made all the difference. AngelSense has honestly helped my anxiety so much. As an autism mom, safety is always on my mind. Being able to open the app and see exactly where my child is gives me instant relief. The alerts when they get to school are my favorite. I do not have to sit there wondering anymore. And the voice feature is such a comfort. Just knowing I can check in if I need to makes a huge difference. It has given my child more independence while still making me feel secure. That balance is everything for our family.
