Since I could not reschedule at that time I had to set up a new date. I’ve spoken to both Angi and Walmart representatives who keep bouncing me from one to the other. I’m so over this. It takes for ever to receive the verification code over email. By time email lands in the inbox, the code is expired and the app does not let me login. For 3 resends, one mail landed in the inbox. Is gmail blocking emails from the system? The appointment was cancelled twice stating they can’t find a pro for my project and eventually cancelled the booking. Really bad experience! ### 1/5 — Pro never showed up *2026-07-12, version 26.22.0* Only used once; Angi cancelled on day of service, rescheduled and serviceman never showed but serviceman then claimed to have completed job. Not trustworthy. ### 3/5 — Fix this app *2026-07-11, version 26.22.0* I make a project then when I reach the end it completely ignores my input. I want tree removal and tell it that I have 7 to 8 trees I need to be removed. The app automatically tells me 2-3. No where in my input have I mentioned 2-3 trees. Then I cancel the project to start another one and it just doesn’t let me create a new project. There’s no edit option, no cancel option. I have to uninstall the app and hope it works again. I should be allowed to edit my project so and also be able to enter the correct details. Not assumption for what the app thinks i need done. ### 1/5 — App is fine. It’s what happens after *2026-07-09, version 26.22.0* The App is good. You can find the technician or whatever service you need and they contact you, and you pick who you want. It’s what happens after that is the problem: The SPAM calls from reaching out to so many service suppliers, they are being intercepted by messaging systems and you get bombarded by unrelated calls from all over the place. You get calls from the service people of course, but then the immensity of spam calls after is ridiculous. Angi has to figure out a way to prevent those spam connections, because it makes me hesitant to use it again next time for fear of all those extra spam calls. And when I hit Contact to write even an email, the email address says it’s wrong and the message bounced back. How ridiculous. I’m downgrading my review to 1 star, as Angi contacted me via the “email from the developer” - they did not pay attention to anything I said here and ignored what I wrote. 2 issues - one, I have received well over 100 ROBOCALLS ever since I used to app just to call up some plumbers, Robocalls from whoever got my number through the App, NONE of whom left a message except for one, that was offering me a refurb of my house which has nothing to do with the plumbing service that I used the App for in the first place. Two, as I wrote here, their own Email link on their app is broken, as my message to them was BOUNCED. I tried again and it bounced. Their email address isn’t even correct via the App for customer service. I checked all my Privacy settings and it was all correct, that I had BLOCKED my information from being released, but a week later I am STILL getting Robo calls on a daily basis at least one call every hour. Angi is a clown. Do not use!!! ### 1/5 — What happened to Angi? *2026-07-07, version 26.22.0* Every time I ask a pro for a quote the app crashes-EVERY TIME. Kind of useless if all you can do is enter project details and can’t send them to professionals. I used it in the past and it worked fine. How difficult should it be to do this tracking automatically? I created an account attempted to look for electricians. It took four different times to put in my address, email, phone number and information. one time it redirected me to popular projects for this time of year in Columbus, Ohio. That’s over an hour and a half away it’s not even the same part of the state! the second time it told me that I had to book with Angie and wanted me to pay $400 to the app with no information whatsoever, I started over. Then it redirected me to a different ZIP Code on the other end of the state. I had to re-enter my information. name, address, phone number and email, then I had to select what I needed done and it told me that it found pros in my area, but would not let me view them. It wanted me to schedule, again, through the app and pay the app several $360 claiming that an electrician would be at my house same day. I can’t even get an electrician in a 50 mile radius to answer their phone or to show up within two weeks. (Every electrician, I’ve managed to contact demands a dispatch fee, a gas surcharge, scheduling fee and an hourly rate just to show up! Then they schedule you out two weeks to then charge you the same fees again plus parts and labor.) How’s the app doing it the same day? Let alone expects me to pay hundreds of dollars with no guarantee or basic understanding of what issues I’m having within my home?! Finding a contractor is terrible on its own, this app is so much worse. ### 1/5 — Sells Personal Data Leading to Nonstop Spam *2026-08-19, version 26.29.0* Tool was mediocre, pros recommended were largely non-local, and creating a project had lead to thousands of spam calls (5-6 per day) from Indian call centers trying to sell home services. Even after noting that the project was complete in the app and changing settings. This used to be a helpful tool. Will not ever use it again. Thanks private equity. ### 1/5 — Get ready for your phone to blow up *2026-08-18, version 26.29.0* I download this app because I needed a bathroom renovation. I dislike that I have to put in a project and cannot just search for contractors on my own. Once I created a project, I selected the companies I want to share it with and ask Angie not to send it to other companies however I received over 30 calls in four days from different companies calling me relentlessly. ### 1/5 — Annoying *2026-08-09, version 26.29.0* I put my detail in for a job request that I had to postpone and despite my communication of the postponement, I had relentless Ai lead calls nonstop morning till night seriously one after the other nonstop. Freaking nightmare this should be illegal and this app should have some rules around this kind of harassment. If you cancel your request it will not matter in the slightest, plan on getting spammed relentlessly. ### 1/5 — Horrible Experience - Wayfair Parternship *2026-08-08, version 26.29.0* I booked a mattress removal service with Angi via their Wayfair retail partner. On the day of the service the pro did not pick up the phone when I called and ultimately never showed up. After waiting over two hours I then had to download this app to chat with a representative to rebook the service for no earlier than two days later. I asked them to guarantee the second pro would show up after what happened with the first, and expressed concern that my rebooked service for two days later was not showing up in their app like the first one did. Angi support staff indicated the app was having technical issues and they didn’t know if or when it would be fixed but assured me the service was booked for two days later and that I could be assured it would definitely be carried out. The ability to rate my first pro that did not show up had also disappeared from the app - meaning I could not inform other potential customers about my experience. Cut to two days later on the replacement service - after waiting an hour and a half I get an email from Angi that they were unable to get a pro to show up for the service and they would have to rebook again for another three days later. I called Angi and canceled the service, and will never use them again.
