## What is Anglers Edge?

Anglers Edge is a fishing-intelligence instrument for Ontario lakes. It turns
real survey data into clear, honest answers to "where do I fish today?" — and
it works entirely offline, because the lake rarely has signal.
DEPTH YOU CAN TRUST
Every lake card names its data: measured sounding and contour surveys with
their source and survey year, and clearly-labeled inferred values where a
model fills a gap. If the data is old, the app says so. Low-confidence areas
are shown as low-confidence — never scored, never hidden.
AN INSTRUMENT
• Depth shading, contours and underwater hillshade
• Structure: breaklines, humps, saddles, points, inside turns, flats
• Shoreline aspect and fetch exposure — how sun and wind hit each shore
• Weed fringes measured by satellite; substrate (inferred, and labeled so)
• Netting-survey results where provincial fisheries data exists
• Ranked hotspots per species and season, with the "why" one tap away
• Tap anywhere for depth, confidence and structure breakdowns
YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR PHONE
No accounts, no analytics, no ads, no tracking. Waypoints, catch logs, GPS
tracks, sonar-log imports and lake requests live only on your device. Export
them yourself (GPX/CSV) when you choose, through the apps you choose.

Anglers Edge is an analysis tool, not a navigation aid. Depths are charted
