I can catalog my flys by streamers, wets, drys, ect. Locations can be add, species, everything you need. I love how you have to manually put in bodies of water and “baits”. Been searching for a simple yet customizable catch log, and I’ve finally found one that does exactly what I need. No more using the “notes” app on my iPhone to log catches! I love how I was able to customize the weight units so I can enter 1.25 pounds rather than 1 pound 4 ounces, as that’s how my scale is set up. The free version of this app would have done me fine, but I love it so much that I just paid the $12 for the year. I do not usually log as I’m fishing and need to be able to go back in and add spots manually, my spots are anywhere from 1 mile to 60 miles out in the ocean. It will record everything you need to know about the when, where and how you caught your fish. Tap to add new catch, add a photo taken when you caught the fish and most of the info like time of day, location, weather, tide etc is added automatically. Make templates for each of your set ups, lures etc. I can’t think of anything else that you could want in a fishing app. 100/100 ✅ ### 5/5 — Great now *2023-12-16, version 2.6.0* Love the app and especially I can now add past trips and get the weather history data ### 5/5 — Simple with unlimited customability *2023-08-25* Perfect fishing log app and I love having no ads. I hope it doesn't but it were to go up in price I would still pay for this even at like $50 a year. I can't even explain how useful this app is and how it lets you only log what you need and leave the extras out until you need those extra options. I want to add what i want, not be told to add stuff. When it says fish, let me type in a entry, not just just pick a fish. I catch numerous species. Let me type in my own weather or how i was fishing the lures. I don’t want to pick from a list. Tackle used, then i can type out what i want. I have handwritten journals that say date, time, weather, locations. I fill in the rest. **Developer response:** Hi there! Thanks for the feedback! The reason most things are picked from a list is so we can track statistics, and so adding catches later are a little quicker (you don't need to type species out every time, for example). In the next version, you'll be able to enter your own weather data, or fetch it from the web. I stumbled across this app looking for a simple to use fishing log, that wasn’t full of distracting adverts! Success! Cohen has done a great job. It takes a while to setup the base database with your techniques, gear and baits etc, but once done is intuitive to use. 4+ years on, Cohen is still developing the app, and is still receptive to change requests and bugs.
