## What is ANGO?

A line of symbols. The same symbol always means the same letter.
Fill in one, and every copy of it opens at once, right across the sentence.


ANGO is a classic substitution cipher puzzle — a cryptogram.
Tap a symbol, choose the letter you think it stands for, and watch the rest fall into place.


WHAT YOU GET

THREE FOOTHOLDS
Word shapes. Spaces and punctuation are never enciphered, so the outline of every word is visible.
One-letter words. In English there are only two, and that narrows things fast.
Frequency. The symbol that appears most is usually E, T or A.
There is no luck involved. Work through those three and the first letter always turns up.
