Long story: First of all the sign up process and initial impression seems very in-depth. However, I’m writing a review because I haven’t even been able to explore the app and how it works to see if it’s an app that I would enjoy using because payment is required before the app is even accessible. I’m not sure if the UI is nice or easy to navigate. I don’t know if the workout plans are realistic I don’t know anything else about the app and how it works besides what the developer says. My concern is nowadays advertisements on applications are all fake and not accurate depictions of how the app actually works. And I don’t want to pay for something before being able to use it even if I could explore the functions of the app just a little bit before the classic “pay wall” it would make it easier to pay. Hopefully there’s an update, allowing a brief view of the app and interface to include functions that you can use before “pay wall”. ### 1/5 — Not free app *2025-05-20* App appears to be useless unless you sign up for the paid subscription. You don’t seem to be able to do anything other than create your avatar. Very disappointing as it looked like it could be a fun way to track your physical activity for anime fans. Definitely not free to play friendly. It didn’t even let me send in a feedback message. It does seem to a pretty new app through so hopefully they fix and polish some things and maybe I’ll revisit it in the future, but as of right now I would not recommend it. **Developer response:** Hey Syrirs! Users can choose if they want the membership, which removes ads, and allows you to connect existing health app data to Aniflex, so you can track your fitness all in one place! "You don’t seem to be able to do anything other than create your avatar." - Current feature set: 1) Avatar Creation 2) Automated training plan 3) Gamified level and stat system 4) Steps, calories, sleep, BPM tracking (membership) 5) Daily, Weekly, Monthly Challenges (membership) 6) Community tab to share your workout progress or talk about anime with like minded individuals 7) Leaderboard We have heard your feedback and we are already working on more features to add soon, as well as continued improvements as time progresses! 😊 "Definitely not free to play friendly" - The app is not a game, so there is nothing to play. The app is completely free, and the core feature of tracking your workout via a level system is free. " It didn’t even let me send in a feedback message" - We have a specific feedback button right in the main menu in the dashboard. We are not sure if you saw it. As far as we know, that feature is working. We put that in because we love to hear feedback from our users so that we can continue to improve and do right by you guys. So if you found that the feedback button in the main menu did not work, please email us at info@aniflexapp.com and let us know! One piece of feedback that I would give is that to Have more different exercises for all the muscles. I know 380 exercises is a lot but I would say have more machine based exercises too, like allow us to choose a path like machine based or free weights.
