It's nice that it actually caters to actual vtubers and fans of vtubers and not kids who want to play with an avatar and the predators who want to pray on said kid. Because all the streamers are people who are adults and have been vetted the community is very safe. This is a reputable vibing platform and I love it. ### 2/5 — It’s okay *2024-08-25, version 1.5.0* I’ve been on the app since the very beginning. For the closed alpha and everything. The gifts are fun. Not having a Follow button was very annoying but I’m glad that finally was added. I don’t like how your name pops up every time you enter a stream, that’s very intrusive. I don’t like how you can’t reload coins unless you are in an active stream that live. I don’t like how I have no way to log out of my account I’ve never had that before on an app. I also don’t like that I can’t just mute or block people so I don’t see trolls in streams. I also do not like that we can’t delete our accounts, you have to go through some Google form and wait for support to get around to it which Support will ignore you and claim it will take several weeks to delete your account - in reality they just don’t want to delete your account because it’s not a hard process to do at all. I’ve also tried reporting accounts but again it has to be through a Google form which Support has ignored me. I don’t like that the streamers can block/mute you and you aren’t informed so you look very rude or stupid sending messages in the chat that no one can see - there should be a feature that either informs you that you’ve been muted from a stream like a personal message pops up or your messages just won’t send or they send in a color. Like why allow me to think I’m able to interact in a chat and still send gifts to a streamer who’s muted me? Overall, it’s an okay app. You can find cool streamers but Support is unhelpful. ### 5/5 — The talents on the platform are fun to talk to. I hate this app so much. When the app launched I expected it to provide a safe place for vtubers to stream on. Unfortunately the streamers had no power to stop hate from viewers. Because of this it caused multiple streamers to feel uncomfortable and just want to quit. However, AniLive has been making updates and improving their system for the benefit of there viewers and streamers. At the moment the moderation features are very mediocre, requiring a streamer to mute someone everytime they join the stream. I like the events they hold which provide a way of income for streamers and a profit for the company as well. Only concern on events is it gives off “everyone against eachother” feeling. I think more collaborative events where the streamers work together instead of fighting against eachother would be a nice touch. I really enjoy the closer relationship between viewers and streamer concept they have going on. What da heck… other Vtuber apps have the Avatar customize button but not on this app?? Also why the age?? I heard a lot of kids wants to be a Vtuber too… IF it was really good I would give it a 5 star but too bad ngl I’m really giving it a 1 star because how bad the app is… the age rating of the game should be 13 or older (13+) and not just 18+ like cmon let pre teens, middle schoolers , High schoolers become a Vtuber (well some may not want to be a Vtuber…) (also I hope you did not nor did enjoy this paragraph! Js saw it on TikTok and was really sketched out. But these reviews are definitely botted because the app is HORRIBLE. Why even try to look like a floating anime character.. reminds me of that one v tuber concert 😭 just don’t waste your time on this app because it’s not worth it. Also the fact that you have to contact just to stream is strange. The lives can barley even load and are far from interesting. I always feel seen when joining a stream and everyone has been so kind 😭 ### 5/5 — A Bridge Between Vtubers and Viewers *2024-08-27, version 1.5.0* AniLive is a great app for Vtubers and viewers alike. It’s a friendly, non-toxic 13+ app (children are prohibited from joining) for Vtubers to stream whatever they desire (so long as it doesn’t break the terms of use) and viewers to watch their oshi (favourite Vtubers) and discover more to add to the list! Vtubers are encouraged to truly interact and make connections with their viewers, so anything that distracts them from that—like playing games—is, while allowed, discouraged. Streamers are also given a form of income too! In addition, various events are held frequently (participation and coin-based ones). The participation one is based on if you meet the streaming hours requirement during the *event period.* the coin-based one is based on how many coins you receive from gifts. Speaking of, viewers can purchase gifts for AniLive streamers with coins! Coins can be bought with real money, but a lot were given during the initial release of the app. On top of that, the AniLive staff works very hard to ensure that streamers are given a safe space to express their creativity and viewers can support their oshi without hate. (toxicity is against the terms of use). Everyone is so friendly and kind. If you join you get a free block of cheese too ### 5/5 — Great app and community (beta user) *2024-08-27, version 1.5.0* I’ve been here since Beta testing, but love the app. I can say I was there and ready for all those first debuts. I want everyone to remember it’s a new app and it’s still got plenty of features being added. It takes a lot for certain codes and here they are doing it. I’m sure you’ll find someone to watch and enjoy here. Very safe and open community. Don’t review bomb 1* cuz ya can’t stream, it ain’t an app for that like say Reality. ### 5/5 — I have used this app a lot *2024-08-27* Hi my user is nateghost11, I have had AniLive ever since near launch and I will say it had a rough start but through it all the AniLive team managed to push through. I am probably one of the most frequent users and I can say THIS IS A GOOD APP, if you like vtubers and want to talk with them this is the app for you. AniLive is also what it is you can watch them anywhere anytime and since adding more streamers to their platform there is always someone to watch, yes there is no just download and stream instantly for people BUT it also makes this app more professional and entertaining this doesn’t mean they won’t add it later since this app is still new. IN ALL GIVE THIS APP A TRY and I’m so happy to have watched this app develop so far, this app has done a lot for me other than just pure entertainment.
