Forgetting for a minute that this product is complete garbage and has the worst UX I’ve ever seen, they also trick you into a one-year commitment when you opt to pay monthly. No one in this day and age would interpret monthly payment this way - utter boomer nonsense.

I don’t understand the poor reviews. Prior to my subscription I contacted support and heard back from them in a few hours. I used the trial version of the desktop program and liked it. I would say loved, but it is a little complicated and there is a learning curve. I also wish they gave you a couple basic recipes to build from, because starting from scratch is intimidating and not as easy to balance as the tutorial makes it seem. I digress. 
The My Pet Recipes mobile app is amazing. It works just like the desktop version for a lot less $$$. According to the support team the major difference is there are not as many ingredient choices and you can’t add your own ingredients. I had a small problem with using the app and the support team got back to me within hours and told me how to fix my issue. So far, so good!

I never agreed to this ridiculous subscription. What a rip off. Then you can’t find where to cancel, really have to work for it!! Hate them.

This is a bad app. I had the same experience with the password reset. Too bad it’s recommended by the folks who wrote the Forever Dog book as it’s received incredible acclaim. Can someone please fix this!!!

Software does not work. After you pay, it will not let you log in with the password you JUST created. There’s a link to reset password, but it takes you to the Animal Diet Formulator website, a completely different account that you pay for separately, and the password is reset for THAT account, not the MPR app. So basically you will be unable to access the MPR app after you’ve paid for your subscription. Your only recourse will be to “contact support” via email, and they will take over a week to reply and be NO HELP AT ALL. They reply in a vague email that you cannot reply back to, you have to send a whole new support inquiry because they will NOT ADDRESS your issue when they finally get back to your first one.

Having originally paid for a subscription to test the product, it turns out you can’t cancel your subscription nor can the customer service team. The customer service team, who don’t have a phone number, yet when you submit a ticket, they ask your preferred method of connecting, have been unable to resolve this in the 4+ days since my original inquiry. 

You’ll find a four step process on the website that shows you how to cancel the subscription, but when you reach the final step, the button to cancel the account doesn’t exist. 

If you’re looking for a product that you can’t cancel your subscription, this is the one for you!

Was very excited to purchase this however cancelled my subscription after 30 minutes. Works ok-ish but unfortunately the ‘save’ recipe function doesn’t work, get stuck and forced you to quit the app and lose the entire recipe. Also many common raw ingredients are missing, like chicken feet, beef kidney. Apparently you can put them in yourself but you need to find all the nutritional info first so requires some research. Will play around with it for the month that I paid for but it still needs work.
