### 5/5 — Animal puzzle

Very entertaining and educating, my 3 year daughter just loves it. Very good educational app that teaches spelling and gives the challenges while playing game with a toddler.

### 4/5 — Grammar and spelling errors

*2012-04-09*

Overall, my kids love this app. They enjoy moving the puzzle pieces to where they go, and listening to the different animal sounds.

Learning wise, however, I have a couple of issues. First of all, there is at least one spelling mistake. The word "pigeon" is spelled incorrectly. There may or may not be more, but I haven't checked. That's the one that just happened to stand out when I was sitting with my daughter.

Second, as an elementary teacher, I feel that none of the words should start with a capital letter. They are not at the beginning of a sentence, nor a proper noun, so they should all be lowercase letters. When children write these words, they are generally writing them as a noun, so they should be taught to use the correct capitalization within this app.

Overall, this is a pretty good "game." If the errors were fixed then it would be a great learning tool, as well!

### 4/5 — Nice

Nice interactive app. Need to look at the spelling of pigeon though. Seems to have the i and the e mixed up - "pegion".

### 1/5 — Very shady developer. DON'T GIVE THEM ANY $$$$$!!!

*2014-08-26*

I paid to have no ads. Anyone who puts ads in a child's app has some moral conflicts that differ than most common people's. my daughter was constantly in the App Store from the ads so since she liked this app I paid to have no ads. I confirmed it with apple & the verified my purchase but guess what it lasted 3 days & I've had ads ever since!

ARE YOU ENJOYING MY $$??

Do what's right & remove the ads you shady dev. You've costed me more $ than I'd like to admit.

Don't download this for your kid(s) & get them something different.

### 1/5 — Pretty bad

*2012-03-20, version 1.0*

This is really pretty bad as educational aps go. I didn't get as far as the typo before I decided to delete it. I'm not sure what age this is aimed at. The puzzle is really very basic and the spelling gives the later names rather than the sounds...It's a pure excuse for a teaching aid.

### 1/5 — Appalling

*2012-03-20, version 1.0*

I don't expect an app that is designed to assist children with their spelling to have a typo in it. What the hell is a 'pegion'?

### 2/5 — Spelling, too!

*2012-03-22*

That's why it only gets 2 stars. There is no excuse for misspelling a word, especially when you are teaching KIDS to spell!! And please work on categorization, i.e., why is there a little songbird with the sea creatures, and similar mistakes in other puzzles? Otherwise it's a cute game for young children.

### 2/5 — spelling

*2012-03-20*

You have pegion spelled wrong! Correct spelling is PIGEON! Do I get a refund and get to keep the game for finding your mistakes? Otherwise it is cute puzzle game!

### 3/5 — Ok

*2018-01-11*

My son likes to play this game. But he gets so frustrated as to why he NEVER earns 5 stars on any of the games. This is clearly a game for young children. So why not give them 5 stars if they get all of the answers right? I don’t get what he has to do to get them. I have tried myself and no matter how fast we complete a puzzle with zero errors, the most we ever get is 4 stars but that’s rare. It’s usually 1, 2, or 3.. Fix this, and I will let my son play it again because he gets so upset when he can’t get 5 stars he has to stop playing the game so I’ve deleted it. Shelled out for the full version to remove the ads and hopefully get him stars and nothing. Also why are the graphics on the whale and shark so dark? It’s odd. Main issue is the stars thing. Give the darn stars to the toddlers. Sheesh.

### 4/5 — Animal puzzle

*2013-03-26, version 1.4*

My 28 months old daughter loves this app and she has learnt names of all animals and spends good 30 minutes a day on this app.

### 4/5 — Really good

*2013-03-19, version 1.4*

My 2 year old daughter loves this game, she knows most of the animals already but she has also learnt more words, it was actually the first game I downloaded for her & I am so happy I did.

### 4/5 — Animal Puzzle

*2013-02-03, version 1.4*

This is a great puzzle, but please use phoneme sounds rather than letter names when spelling out words. This will be much more helpful for learning to read.

### 4/5 — Smiley7458

Kids loved it. Free version has almost everything, so why buy?

### 5/5 — Obsessed!

*2012-12-24*

My daughter is obsessed with this game. Between the puzzle part and the labeling... My two and a half year old is counting letters and syllables!

### 5/5 — Grand son loves it!

*2012-08-29*

Great app to learn names & spelling of lots of animals.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2012-07-07*

My niece plays them all the time. They're great for road trips and rainy days!

### 5/5 — Great app for little ones reluctant to " work" at learning.

*2012-06-08*

I was thrilled to stumble across this app. My great grandson is just 4 and smart as a whip but is resistant to actually work on things. He loves this game and I am thrilled. Thanks for the great, high quality games.

### 5/5 — Wonderful for son with autism!

*2012-05-16*

My 2 1/2 year old son is very bright despite having autism and I am now teaching him to read. This app combines his love of animals along with puzzles and the names of the animals. My favorite aspect is that after each animal is named verbally, the individual letters each turn color and bounce in succession until the word is spelled. It is a great teaching tool! Please, please, please make more apps like this one!
