### 2/5 — flaw in design that makes this unusable for us

*2022-07-31*

We love this game very much. But we can’t use it due to one simple fact.
If the child touches the edge of the screen the game stops and child can access phone/tablet. This means that every 3 seconds I have to take my phone and put the game back on from the home screen, open tabs, pull down menus on iphones ect .
That gets old fast and has led to me erasing this game several time out of sheer fustration.
It would be amazing if this game could be like some other baby/toddler games that require a double tap or to touch particular areas of the screen to leave the game.

### 3/5 — Mi niño

*2020-11-05, version 1.8.1*

Está muy bueno el juego solo que lo qoponer en español y no medeja

### 4/5 — hübsch für die Kleinen

*2020-05-25*

Inhalt: 15 grafisch ansprechend dargestellte Tiere.

### 2/5 — What am I paying for?

*2017-08-16*

I feel like this app is much too basic to be anything more than 99 cents. It pretty much just 16 pictures of animals that make a small noise when you tap them. That's all. The picture res are nice, but you go through the animals quickly.

### 3/5 — Like the foreign language option

*2016-10-21*

I like that his app has the option for other languages. I would love, though, if they would add in the articles. I turn the app to French for my daughter and in French, nouns are never said without the article (I.e. la giraffe, le requin etc) this would make the app so much better as these are extremely important in most foreign languages which have gendered nouns!

### 2/5 — All of this series is buggy

*2015-12-10*

There are bugs in all the TBD peek a zoo series. Tbd doesn't seem to care to fix them, they just want your money. In this one, my child can't touch the words 'Penguins' or Owls' and have the human repeat the word. This is disappointing to my baby. As a programmer, I don't understand how simple testing missed bugs that a 2 year old finds and cries over on first use.

### 5/5 — Good fun for my daughter!

*2014-04-13, version 1.6*

Great way to amuse my daughter in the car during road trips .

### 3/5 — Not as good

*2014-01-05*

I had purchased peekaboo barn and liked it. This one doesn't have as many language options which is disappointing. We are trying to teach my son Chinese and it isn't available on this one.

### 5/5 — Brilliant

*2013-11-16*

My one year old has loved this. Brilliant colourful and comical. very good at making him giggle plus he gets the hang of using one finger to tap the screen. Shame the music doesn't stay on as hue loves the tune!

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2013-11-10*

My son absolutely loves this series of apps. Highly recommend them. The details are great, and they're visually very appealing.

### 5/5 — Great

*2013-10-09, version 1.4*

My 1yr old son loves this app! He is starting to say the animal names! Would like to have more animals

### 4/5 — Cute little app!

*2013-09-30, version 1.4*

Just wish there were more animals to peek for a $2.99 app. Please continue to update and add more animals!!!!!!!

### 5/5 — Kid love it!

*2013-07-18*

Very entertaining.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Just pictures

*2020-06-09*

I thought this was going to be a game, but is just a handful of animal pictures. A waste of money.

### 1/5 — Biggest waste of my money at the App Store

*2018-11-21*

This game is no more interactive than a picture book. I thought it was going to be somewhat interactive but it simply shows different animals with poor graphics and movement and says what they are. My 2 year old was bored within 30 seconds.
Shame on you for charging money for this garbage!!

### 1/5 — Lea

*2016-11-03*

Not worth the money. I saw this app on the American site for 99c, but paid £2.99 for my version. The game with its 16 animals held my grandson's attention for around five minutes. Poor show.

### 1/5 — Not worth the money

*2016-07-21, version 1.6.1*

This app only has a few animals. Don't waste your money on this app.

### 1/5 — So little for so much money

*2015-04-12, version 1.6.1*

Don't upgrade!

### 1/5 — Not good

*2013-09-21, version 1.4*

Don't waste your money. If your child is smart enough to use an IPad then she is way smarter for this app. I wanted to give it a half star rating.

### 1/5 — No sound

*2012-04-30, version 1.0.1*

Pretty much worthless because sound doesn't work

### 1/5 — Rip off!

*2012-04-24, version 1.0.1*

App does not work on my 3G iPhone! This needs to be fixed or give me back my $1.99
This should be stated before you buy!

### 1/5 — Disappointed!

*2011-12-24, version 1.0.1*

The sound does not work for this app. I have the sound up and it works for other sites, but not for this app. Is there any way i can get my money back?

### 2/5 — Not much difference between Lite version

*2024-07-10*

I downloaded the lite and enjoyed it. So I payed the $3.99 for the full version for the toddler I nanny. I expected quite a lot more animals than just 15. Some don’t even have the accurate animal noises. However, for $4 I feel like there should be more app. There is also no way to get your money back through the apple App Store. I’m very disappointed. I’m rating 2 stars because the toddler doesn’t seem to mind.
