I get an add every 2 minutes and it’s especially annoying when I’m coloring in a picture and I get a random ad for “Ragnarok Origin”. I also wish that once you finished a color it would be checked off (like in Sandbox) and because it doesn’t do anything it gets confusing because you don’t know what’s done until you’re fully finished. I spent so long looking for numbers that I had apparently already finished and had no idea. ### 2/5 — Bad graphics *2020-10-23, version 1.7.2* I love the fact that there are DDLC characters in it, I can’t find any other game that has them at all. But the graphics for the pixel art ar terrible, I mean, It looks like I’m playing the game on 144p. And the mechanics for coloring, and moving the screen around are so janky and touchy, and when your zoomed in and move the screen, it moves to the complete other side of the art ### 2/5 — I would rate higher but... *2020-08-19, version 1.7.2* The app is fine, and I don’t see a whole lot of bugs. That said, the in app advertisements are absolutely horrendous and the lack of an option to simply do away with them is what keeps this from getting a higher rating. I didn’t install the app to consume large amounts of advertisement trash, and I would appreciate if the developers added a “remove ads” purchase option. I’m absolutely certain that people would actually pay to not get harassed mid picture. ### 2/5 — Suicidal Ideation??? *2020-05-23, version 1.7.1* My daughter downloaded and has been using here and there for about a week, maybe an hour total. I just looked and saw The very first pic has a girl looking at a NOOSE. Deleted the app as soon as I saw it and couldn’t remove, flag or report that image. Quality of images is crap too. ### 2/5 — Fake reviews, ads, and other *2020-02-01, version 1.7.1* Awful, they put fake 5-star reviews, and the ads are annoying. I don’t want an ad every 3 seconds while I’m trying to color! Also there’s barely any doki doki pictures, and the ones that are doki doki, it’s mostly just sayori. If this is supposed to be a doki doki coloring app, why is there so many other animes? Just call it “Anime coloring app” or something. Another huge problem is that some of the colors on the characters are wrong. For example, I was coloring a character, and when it got to the eyes, the color was supposed to be green but was actually a light yellow! Another problem I have, why are some pictures of the same character better than others? Could you at least make some of them good quality? Because at first glance they really don’t look like anything. I’d also really like if when you’re done with painting with that color, it lets you know you’re done. It’s really confusing. I finished all the hair color, but there’s no X over colors I just used. ### 3/5 — Hmmmm *2019-12-21, version 1.7.1* Okay this game is great, but it could be better. One, one time I was playing this app, an ad popped up that I could get out of, so I restarted the app, and every thing that I did was gone! The artwork is also bad quality. I don’t recommend this app, but you can try it for fun. ### 3/5 — A bit disappointing *2019-12-15, version 1.7.1* When I got on the game for the first time, the the app had terrible quality first ones. But the worst part is.. the adds. I love anime and I would have genuinely loved this app if there wasn’t adds every time I tapped on something new. Adds don’t normally bother me but when it’s every time I try I do something it’s irritating. Also, the movement it weird. I was confused on how to move when I first got it and it glitched so I was even more confused. There are some bugs and add ons that need to be fixed but other than that, there are some really good ones on there and they are fun! ### 3/5 — The pictures are cute, but could be better *2019-11-30, version 1.7.1* I love doki doki and when I found this I got exited, I expected adds but the pictures colors aren’t right and there are characters from many different games which isn’t really a bad thing but I would have liked higher quality pictures. But even with the struggle, this app is fun after a few hours and for some people a few minutes! You should get this app if you like doki doki Literature Club, Anime, or both of them! :D ### 3/5 — Danganronpa *2019-08-30, version 1.7.1* I fricking love Danganronpa, kinda sad that Kokichi wasn’t in this app, but some other characters were, I don’t know why some people haven’t noticed the Danganronpa characters, this game is very low-quality and stinks, but I love the Danganronpa characters in there ### 3/5 — Half way there! *2019-08-08, version 1.7.1* There can be a little bit more there can be done like moving the screen or the colors having checks in the bottom to tell the person that, that color is finished. Also some of the things are a tad bit creepy but it’s doki doki what did I expect. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Absolutely terrible, horrible really. *2020-03-26, version 1.7.1* I saw the reviews and I wanted to give this game a chance, I really did. I’m getting ads every ten seconds and the images are a disgrace to the games and the fandoms. As for the ads, I understand that free games have to have ads to make money, most of the time. The images are absolutely terrible, as I said, there’s nothing more, and nothing less to say about it. If I could rate this as a -5 star game, i wouldn’t hesitate to do so. You can do much, much better. ### 1/5 — The art is awful *2020-02-22, version 1.7.1* The art on here is very bad. I colored a Monika with lopsided eyes, no eyebrows, no nose, and her face had no shading whatsoever. She didn’t even have a body, just a floating head. And randomly, while coloring, I kept getting ads after ads. I got like 6 or 7 ads in 5 minutes. It was the same ad too. While this isn’t the absolute worst coloring app, it’s definitely one of the worst coloring apps. ### 1/5 — Too many ads *2019-11-08, version 1.7.1* I would really enjoy this app but had to delete it because of all the ads that pop up. I only had the game 2 minutes and had 4 ads pop while coloring one of the pictures. Eliminate the amount of ads and maybe I’ll download it again. It’s just too much ### 1/5 — I’ve seen better *2019-10-05, version 1.7.1* I dislike this app, every time I tap on a picture thing or whatever to color, an ad always pops up every single time! I get that companies do it to get money but when it plays an ad every single time it just gets ridiculous. Another thing is I don’t think the quality is that great (in my opinion.) I think it’s more pixel than it’s supposed to be. Great job making this app but I don’t really like it. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2019-09-01, version 1.7.1* So first of all the zoom is terrible you barely touch it and it goes way too far. The quality of the photos are even worse. Some of them you can’t even tell that they actually have eyes. And the scrolling quality in order to find your next photo it just jumps. And there is not unlimited photos there is a very few photos. The photos in the games page is not what they actually look like there’s nothing like that they’re quite the opposite and very trash. I don’t know how people leave five star reviews on this game so it’s more likely just paid people to leave a nice comment. ### 1/5 — Apps decent if you have a lot of time to spare *2019-05-18, version 1.7.1* The app if like any other typical ones, nothing special about it. It has some issues like starting you out zoomed in way to far out. I get how the more detailed an image is the more pixels/boxes there are. Which makes it really annoying to color every single tiny box. I rather sketch my own and color it from there. ### 1/5 — There’s Better Out There *2018-12-17, version 1.6.0* Admit it, most of you probably clicked download on this app because you saw Doki Doki Literature Club. Unfortunately, it isn’t all that. Most of the images you can color aren’t even their own, they’re stolen from various places on the internet. The coloring quality also isn’t the best either. The colors are all off and it just looks unnatural. Almost all the images also don’t even have anything to do with Doki Doki Literature Club. Some don’t even have anything to do with anime. Hey, at least it’s free. If you have some time to waste by coloring low quality pictures with wonky controls and some time to watch ads, go ahead. ### 1/5 — I can’t color...! *2018-12-01, version 1.5.0* So, I downloaded this game with high hopes but, right when I pick a picture, there’s no paint. Literally there were no paints at the bottom like the tutorial says. It might be because I have iPhone XR but the app says it works with this phone. The overall quality is awful, and I can barely tell what the picture even is. I know it’s from the game called “Doki Doki Literature club”, (witch is one of my favorite games) but I just can’t see the picture very well. I also know there isn’t that much variety of pictures to choose from. And I also think it would be cool to see other people’s art work. But the main issue for me is that when you click a number, it doesn’t highlight which number you should color sooo I just end up searching for 15 MINUTES trying to find which one to color. If there was a category for awful games this would be number one. I usually like to give games the benefit of the doubt but I can’t even do that for this game. So here are the reasons why I hate this game. 1- it cant even get the colors right. I was coloring Sayori and she ended up with a maroon skin tone, blue bow, no eyes, and a pink skirt. Seriously it seems like the colors are randomized or something. This really needs to get fixed. 2- randomly crashes. In the first five minutes of playing, it crashed like three times. How are you supposed to do anything when it’s continuously crashing over and over. ( not that I want to actually play this game but still.) 3- adds. Every time I finish coloring an add pops up. It gets really annoying after a wile. And during the add, a “please rate 5 stars” thing pops up. 4- weird glitch???. I wanted to color a Monika but it won’t let me. It zooms in really far and then gets stuck. Like seriously I tried 5 Monikas before giving up. WHY DOES IT DO THIS! I recently have been unemployed, divorced, and my wife took the kids. I had lost all hope. My meaning was nothing, I was at my lowest. Afraid to never achieve true happiness again. I was falling into an endless pit of despair, each day falling deeper into madness. I needed to kill. Until one fateful day I grasped my celular device. I went on to the App Store, hoping for any ounce of joy to be brought into my life. My eyes glimmered, my thoughts cleared, my hands began to shake as tears of pure jubilation delicately grazed my cheek.
