Flash-card nomenclature must be something else, because just trying to sort the cards in your deck is a bizarre and not entirely successful endeavour, which always sucks. Seems like a little 'quick-start' guide might bring in a lot of backers. ### 2/5 — So frustrating *2026-08-16, version 25.09* I payed 35 dollars expecting a useful app I have spend 30 minutes trying to add am already made flashcards in French and I can’t add any why is it so hard ### 3/5 — Doesn’t work as well as the android version *2026-08-10, version 25.09* I had a much better experience with the android version so didn’t mind paying for it on iPhone as well but it’s hasn’t been a very smooth experience iOS. The most frustrating part is syncing fails about 50% of the time even with only one deck of 1500 cards. Sometimes tapping doesn’t register on the screen when I’m reviewing cards. Overall it feels a bit clunkier than android. ### 3/5 — Must download desktop app to use shared decks *2026-07-30, version 25.09* It wasn’t really obvious that not only do you have to download the Anki mobile you also have to download the desktop app to get shared decks. After entering 50 cards, the app only allowed me to study 20 because of its default learning settings. I also found it difficult to locate my decks and change the study limits. It syncs with the website. Syncs across my iPad and iPhone. I’m happy to support the developer as he’s already given it for free on Windows and MacOS as well as Android.
