## What is Anole?

Reptile expos are run by three dozen different promoters, each with their own website, and the listing sites that try to gather them get dates wrong. Miss the weekend and you wait months.

Anole keeps one calendar.

EXPO CALENDAR
Upcoming shows on a monthly calendar, updated between releases so a corrected or newly announced date reaches you without an app update. Filter by state, and add any show to your calendar. Plus profiles of 35 recurring expo series, from Repticon and NARBC to the monthly shows only locals know about.

Every date is checked against the organizer's own schedule or the venue's booking calendar — never scraped from a listing site.

SHOW REMINDERS
Tap the bell on any upcoming show and Anole nudges you a week out, the day before, and on show morning. Reminders live on your device — no account, no server.

FIND SHOPS NEAR YOU
Live map search powered by Apple Maps. Filter for reptile shops, exotic pet stores, or feeder insects, anywhere in the US.

BROWSE ANY CITY
Heading somewhere? Search any city or state and see what's there.

FEATURED LEGENDS
A hand-verified list of the most respected reptile shops in the country — from East Bay Vivarium (est. 1970) to NERD, LLLReptile, Snake Discovery, and more. Every entry checked against real sources, with the verification date right on the listing.

FILTER BY WHAT YOU KEEP
Looking for a ball python, bearded dragon, leopard gecko, corn snake, or crested gecko? Filter the featured list to shops we've confirmed carry that species. Shops that don't publish their animals online get their own "worth calling" section instead of quietly disappearing.

SAVE YOUR SPOTS
Favorite shops you love or plan to visit. Everything stays on your device.

PRIVACY FIRST
No accounts. No analytics. No tracking. Location is optional, used only to center the map and sort by distance, and searches run through Apple Maps — we never receive or store any of it.

Shop and event names are trademarks of their respective owners. Anole is an independent directory and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any business or event listed.
