## What is Anomalor?

Anomalor is a password generator and optional encrypted vault for iPhone. Create strong random passwords, memorable passphrases, and secure PINs on your device. No Anomalor account.

Tap once to generate. Tap again to copy. Saving to the vault is optional. Generation uses your iPhone’s cryptographically secure random number generator, so results are unpredictable and suitable for real account security.

Generation modes
• Random passwords with adjustable length and character types
• Passphrases built from a trusted wordlist
• PINs with optional filtering for obvious patterns

Useful options
• Uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols
• Exclude similar-looking or awkward characters
• Custom character sets and exclusions
• Presets for everyday use, Wi-Fi, and maximum security
• Strength rating with entropy and estimated crack time

Encrypted vault
Save generated passwords when you want to keep them. Search, edit, copy, and delete. Unlock with Face ID or a master password. The vault is encrypted and stored on this iPhone. It is not required to use the generator.

Backup
Export an encrypted backup in Files. You can save it on this iPhone, in iCloud Drive, or in another folder. Restore it later with your master password. Anomalor cannot recover a forgotten master password.

Password checker
Enter or paste a password to see how strong it is. Analysis runs locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded.

Privacy
• Generate and check passwords on-device
• No Anomalor account, no ads, no tracking
• The vault is optional and encrypted on this device
• Optional session history stays in memory only and clears when the app closes
• Copied passwords can be removed from the clipboard automatically (30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, or never)
• Passwords can be hidden in the app switcher

### 2.0 — 2026-09-09

Anomalor 2.0 has been fully rebuilt as a native iPhone app, with an optional encrypted password vault.

Generate passwords, passphrases, and PINs with presets and on-device strength checking. Save the ones you want in a vault unlocked with Face ID or your master password. Back up with an encrypted file in Files — on this iPhone, iCloud Drive, or another folder you choose.

Also new: optional session history, clipboard auto-clear, light and dark mode, and haptic feedback. Generation is cryptographically secure. The UI is redesigned. Privacy controls are improved. Legacy plaintext password storage from older versions is removed.
