## What is Anomalous Optics Archive?

Something is wrong with the specimens.

Move geometric lenses across carefully staged animal portraits until the working archive matches its target. Magnify a face, compress a body, twist a silhouette, reconnect space through portals, or reveal details that were never meant to be cataloged.

Anomalous Optics Archive is a handcrafted visual puzzle game with a bright natural-history look and a faintly uncanny edge. The rules are tactile and immediate, while later archives combine multiple lenses, unusual viewpoints, reveal tasks, and deliberately absurd proportions.

FEATURES

• 180 handcrafted offline puzzles across six collections
• 15 lens types with distinct geometric effects
• A 30-puzzle base archive that teaches every core rule
• Five 30-puzzle animal dossiers featuring equines, bovines, felines, canines, and rodents
• Varied animal portraits viewed from multiple angles
• Mild uncanny moments without gore or animal harm
• Simplified Chinese and English interface options
• VoiceOver-readable lens status and system Reduce Motion support
• No ads, accounts, tracking, analytics, or in-app purchases
• No background music; only short procedural interaction sounds

Every target image is produced from the same source specimen and the same lens system used by the player. There are no hand-painted answers: if you can read the distortion, you can reconstruct it.
