Difficult to manage a memory card too from time to time it says not detected i need to reformat. No battery, you have to find an outside source and connect it with a cable. Vision during the day ok. Very irritating the voice, this cam talks and I can’t find a way to turn it down or off, in the middle of the night if connection is lost or need to restart it talks , loud too. ### 1/5 — Camara for looks only *2025-11-30* The Camara does absolutely nothing for you except gives you something to sit in the room. Try to check on your pet or child and then WAIT. It may connect-disconnect— 1/3,2/3 reconnect and on and on. Save your time and money. ### 1/5 — Horrible app, horrible cameras. *2025-10-25* The cameras often don’t engage, they don’t engage from a sidewalk distance of your house, the cameras take forever to load despite numerous software updates, they often engage too late, or not at all. What a nightmare. ### 1/5 — Glitchy App - Cannot Calibrate *2025-07-21* Glitchy app not ready for prime time. Numerous bugs and errors in registration page. App and locks will not calibrate and will get stuck on continuous loop of ringing an alert. One of the most disappointing new tech products and software I have interacted with in years. Stick to the major players. August Smart lock is light years ahead of this device. Maybe in a few years these guys will be ready. Best to avoid for now, unfortunately. Also, if I’m listening to Apple Music on my phone and then go into the app, it automatically stops my music. Lastly, I wish that I can see all the cameras at once instead of having to click each one every time. When my elderly mom walks from the kitchen to her bedroom I have to constantly switch camera views. We’ve tried everything: rebooted, reset WiFi, ensured SD card is working. I have extreme difficulty when playing back any prerecorded footage and I am no unable to view quick live snips when I try to open and access. It stays on securing line. My cameras were also offline for almost 3 days for no reason. I unplugged, reset, changed the position and nothing. Then all of a sudden it was back on. This system is very unreliable and does not grant me the piece of mind I was looking for. I wish I could return. The app does not seem glitchy- it actually is pretty smooth and fast. The camera’s have excellent picture and were very easy to set up. Again, I’m brutally honest with my reviews. I’m not sure why this app gets a bad rating. But whatever changes they have made recently are paying off. ### 5/5 — Anona security *2025-01-16, version 1.2.2* Keep it up , although its good ### 4/5 — Pretty great app and hardware! *2026-08-15* Anona must have started a new app or something because there were many more negative reviews before this one. That being said, I bought the smart lock maybe a year ago and was very disappointed as I could not get it to connect to the app and returned it. I saw that they consistently updated their app and decided to give it another shot. I now have four of these in my house, and they are amazing! They seem very high end, especially for what you pay. I highly recommend these. I did some research and it looks like Anona is part of the Xiaomi umbrella, if that matters to you. They are as reputable imo. I am just a normal parent trying to keep my house safe. Not paid, not sponsored. ### 3/5 — Video Loading Issues *2026-08-25* The camera works great and records good quality as needed.
