Given that this is a known problem, and has been the case for many months I presume, would anyone like to offer an explanation? Is anyone working on this or should we all just cancel our subscriptions? I suspect the most recent positive reviews here are all fake by the way… ### 1/5 — Terrible *2022-12-04* Doesn’t have the basic functionality you need for a podcast app—no control over speed, pausing works inconsistently, the skip ahead isn’t functional with AirPods ### 1/5 — Frustrating *2022-11-21* The app itself isn’t too bad, but there are a few really frustrating issues. 1. You have to log back in after every update, and also seemingly at random. 2. The app doesn’t remember your username/email, so you have to type that when you have to log in over and over. There also is no Face ID. 3. Resume play where you left off is very hit and miss. Also doesn’t allow for downloads with just a constant buffer ### 1/5 — Worst app Ive ever used *2022-10-22, version 1.0.11* The app doesn’t actually work, there is nowhere to subscribe to what I want to subscribe to. When I use the website, there is an option to subscribe but it never actually goes through. Total waste of time. Why would anyone use this platform? ### 1/5 — Car crash *2022-10-14, version 1.0.9* Awful app. Only came to it for quickly Kevin. Downloads don’t work. No jump back or forwards, remote controls on earphones or watches. Can’t make my own queue. Tried it to subscribe (paid) to one of my fave pods for extra content but continually crashed 3-4 mins in. Waste of money. Didn’t seem to be any links with Apple, Spotify or other platforms where the majority of podcasts are. However the app and website always crash or are down. The app is over designed and buggy. Difficult to navigate menus and podcast pages. It’s now broke so much that I want to cancel. But Lo and behold both app and website are down so I can’t remove my billing details ### 1/5 — Rip it up and start again *2023-12-29, version 1.2.7* Appreciate that they wanted to create this to own more control over their podcasts, but for that to make sense for audiences you need to have an intuitive, well-designed and solid platform – which this is none of the above. You can sense it’s build and maintenance has just been farmed out somewhere, with very little care or good design. Seldom functions properly, and when it does it’s annoying and counter-intuitive to use. ### 1/5 — How is it possible an app is this bad *2023-12-10, version 1.2.7* PLEASE FIX YOUR APP. Why does it always go back to the top when I’m scrolling and why do you have the most non functional search bar in the history of search bars. This is the worst app I have ever used. If quickly Kevin was anywhere else I’d leave your platform ### 1/5 — Almost unusable *2023-10-02, version 1.2.7* As can be seen from the previous reviews there are lots of usability problems with this app. Probably the most frustrating is the downloads which rarely works at all and instead endlessly buffers. The interface is glitchy, jumpy, and not intuitive. Utter rubbish. Full of glitches and keeps logging me out. The podcast content is great but I am looking for another way to access it. ### 1/5 — Great content in the worst app around *2023-08-10, version 1.2.7* First up the content on the app is some of the best around. The app itself though is simply dreadful. As a user experience it is full of bugs that have been around forever and have never been fixed, it’s not intuitive in the slightest, navigation between menus is so frustrating as if you accidentally swipe (very easy to do) and return to the previous screen it takes you to the top of the previous menu, the same if you try and download and can’t hit the jackpot in hitting the single smallest button in app history. The creators clearly don’t care as there have been no improvements since this was first launched. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2023-07-10, version 1.2.7* Completely unusable. Downloaded episodes frequently just looping the first few minutes.
