However, this is ruined by the fact that there is a mandatory video ad every minute that lasts between 10 and 30 seconds, so a huge percentage of play time is eaten up by the ads. They do sell an adblock, but it’s unreasonably expensive at $16 for the version that lets you get the bonuses the ads would give. There’s another one for “only” $8 that blocks ads and doesn’t grant the bonuses, but equivalent purchases in other games would be the lower price or less for the high-priced option’s functionality, and even without the purchase, the ads would be far less frequent and mostly or entirely optional. I’ve never seen another game or app be this greedy about its ads. Reinstalling the game means you need to endure several ads (likely 3) just to earn the right to say “wait, I paid to not deal with this!” On top of that you’ll still get video “offers” that get in the way of upgrades and even block the screen until you decline them. To remove those, you’ll have to pay $16! Well, there’s a chance you’d still have to interact to get them to go away. I don’t know. I’m not going to buy that. This is a really cool, unique game that I’d really love to play but getting offer ads that do NOT go away on their own, when I’ve paid to see NO ads, is something I’m not willing to deal with, and neither should you. No ads means no ads.
