Currently the only issue I’m having is that the colour I select for personas isnt usually the one that’s displayed

Other than this, it’s good, adless and threads keep it organised, I also like the ‘let it go’ feature

Overall I’d recommend if not for the colour bug, hope this gets fixed

Saw this recommended on a plural site and decided to give it a shot. It's alright to use, and the texting features are nice. Creating profiles with a color associated is not consistent though. I'd choose a color and then it sometimes (most of the time) defaults back to a pale yellow color. I end up clicking one of the given colors that are close enough. 
I really wish there was a date function. We really easily lose track of time, and it would be helpful to see when messages are sent. 
Also, export function? I'd love a txt file at the very least. 
And basic but minor UI stuff that I'd like adjustments to: when clicking on a previous text, please make sure the editing options stay on the bottom and you cant scroll it all the way up, leaving a gap. And when you click on a previous session to visualize, there's no back button. 
Will continue to use sparsely. I like the design, and communication is very helpful. I just really want the export feature as a baseline.

I really like it but it won’t let me change persona pictures after I’ve already uploaded one. And there’s no way to delete personas so I can’t just delete them and make a new one with the same name.

The app is perfect for my needs! It has helped me organize my thoughts, and I am glad I found it.

That being said, I can’t read the text well. I am visually impaired, and the app doesn’t conform to the large text I have on my device. If there was an option to zoom in, that would be much appreciated.

Otherwise, thank you for making this product!

We’re an OSDD (possibly DID) system and we were super excited to check out Antar after hearing another system on YouTube mention it. We love the idea, but the execution is abysmal. No way to edit personas? That’s loss of a star. 

And colors change to something else?? Like, I keep trying to pick a shade of Red off the Hex Wheel for one of my alters and it keeps changing it from Red to Yellow!!

We’re still going to keep trying to make this app work for us because this feels like the closest way we can communicate cohesively without just straight up talking to ourselves aloud. 

But it’s really frustrating to already see that the app doesn’t work well AND to see a long history of reviews of similar nature that the developer does not seem particularly keen to bother with. 

So… cool. I hope somebody else sees what this app is going for and constructs a better app that more smoothly executes the good idea.

I previously reviewed this on my phone, but I have to give another review now, from my ipad. The app is nothing like how it should be, it hardly works to be honest. I’m frustrated because it’s all I have right now and it doesn’t really work at all. I’d appreciate an update.

Does what it says, definitely has room to improve. Not all colours seem to work when selecting a value from the colour wheel when creating a “persona”. I also wish there was a setting that allows you to view a timestamp for each message within a session. Hoping that the app will continue to grow!

when i used this on my android, it was easy to find a list of my personas and add, edit, or delete them. i cannot find this function on the ios app. the app comes with a ton of preset personas, and i would like to delete most of them. i’m a perfectionist and i can’t use the app until i can do that. clicking on the “app support” or “developer website” links in the app store redirects me to random sites as if it’s some kind of scam, and there’s no support section in the app, so i can’t even message them to ask about it. i would be happy to update my review if the developers can fix the problem or show me how to delete personas.

The app's good for its purpose. I have personas for my IFS parts, and I've been chatting with them for three years. A very basic, simple function, and this app is great for that. Just as important is privacy. The chats are stored on your phone, so no need to worry about someone being able to read them, or them getting used for AI training, or whatever nightmare scenario your brain can conjure.

HOWEVER! I have gotten a new phone, and looked for some sort of export feature in Antar, to move my chats off my phone. It does not exist. I repeat, it does NOT exist. The ONLY way to move your chats off your phone is to copy and paste each. Individual. Message. That's right. You can't open a past session, copy the text of the whole session, and paste it into a different app such as Notes. Nope. You have to copy and paste each little chat bubble.

I have three years of chats with my parts. You do the math. My chats are essentially gone.

So, yeah. Don't use this app. Just write a back-and-forth chat in the Notes app. Write on paper with cute little speech bubbles. Anything, except this app.

hopefully the title is self explanatory, when first opening the app it gives a few cards talking about the apps uses. these are formatted wrong on my iphone (13) and i cannot exit them. it seems like the entire card has been moved up just enough for any X to be inaccessible.

Downloaded and it shows three introductory pages. However, there is nothing to click, no content. Nothing. I tried deleting and downloading it again…same thing. Bummed because it sounds like SA great concept.

I was using this app and loved it for a while, until I switched from android to iPhone. I done know if that’s the issue or if it was an update problem, but ever since I downloaded it on the iPhone it does not work correctly. It is extremely frustrating. The whole point is to differentiate different parts of ourself, but the color coding system is all out of whack and the only option is white. I want to use and love the app but I can no longer use it. Unfortunately I haven’t found anything similar in the app store. PLEASE FIX THIS.

I used this a few years ago to help sort internal thoughts. The app worked great, as intended. 

Now, though, I can’t change profile pictures at ALL, so everything I have is outdated and cannot be updated without creating new profiles. The color system also doesn’t work at all, and will ALWAYS revert me to either yellow or pink. 

It’s a shame. I loved this app, but these two frustrations are difficult to get by for me.

Downloaded this since someone suggested it for use as a chat app for systems, but it doesn’t really work for that. You can’t customize the “me” profile and are forced to use it, it seems. It also doesn’t seem possible to have multiple “personas” sharing a chat, so if anyone wants to talk with more than one headmate at a time, this won’t work. All in all I think it does okay at what it was *meant* to do, but it doesn’t work for anything else

I have been diagnosed with DID for over 3 yrs and my system journals . But this makes that even more. With amnesia this greatly helps us while dissociation or rapid switching. Tk be able to have a way to communicate is such a gane changer. Only wish there was a backup option to make sure nothing gets lost. And a way to maybe join with other systems or people so they always know who they are speaking to.

Hi. We are system and we just suspected that we have DID. While using this app I can’t chat with my persona. Or save my persona. The tax fields are not editing for me. I use voice over and this makes me really frustrated.
