## What is Antechamber?

Antechamber does not forbid anything. It places a few seconds between your thumb and the app you were about to open — long enough to notice what you are doing, and to still do it if you mean to.

Choose your pause:
• Breathing — follow a circle for one to ten breaths.
• Intention — copy a short sentence, exactly.

When the pause is held, the app opens for the time you decided: five minutes, an hour, a whole day. Then the pause returns.

YOU ARE NEVER LOCKED OUT
A button opens the app right away, free of charge, without finishing the pause. An emergency is an emergency, not an evening.

WHAT WE NEVER KNOW
Antechamber uses Screen Time. iOS hands us sealed tokens, so we never learn which apps you protect. Nothing is measured, nothing is stored, nothing leaves your phone — and there is no account to create.

FREE, ALWAYS
Protecting your apps and the emergency exit never cost anything. Premium adds longer pauses, three breathing patterns including 4-7-8, the length of the reprieve, and a different rule for each app.
