### 4/5 — Great app

*2026-06-01*

Easy to use, find the best transmitter for your location easily

### 3/5 — Confusing mostly

*2025-07-20, version 2.1*

The direction of the finder changes all the time. It is different inside than outside. I have to stand along way from my steel boat to not get interference, but then I’m too far to adjust the aerial. May work for rv’s but impractical for my situation.

### 5/5 — Rv friendly

*2025-06-02*

Perfect for caravanning around our great country, can easily find nearest tv station and direct antenna towards it for best results while free camping anywhere, perfect

### 5/5 — Frustrated caravans

*2025-03-28*

Having spent hours pointing the caravan antenna to all points of the compass with no success I searched antenna finder apps.
I downloaded three apps the first two were free but were subsequently dismissed as they were unable to locate any antenna, the third “Antenna Finder” found and locked onto a antenna immediately and subsequently available tv channels.
The moral of this story, save your time , pay a £1 download Antenna Finder

### 3/5 — Compass issue

*2025-03-14*

It has a compass to show direction of the aerial but which way is that direction? The compass doesn’t move on the screen. It would be better to have the compass move on the phone to locate the aerial.

**Developer response:** Hi

Sorry to hear you're having problems.

A few people have had issues with the compass not pointing the right way or not moving.

Here's a few things you can try if the compass doesn’t appear to be pointing in the same direction all the time:

1) Open the Compass app on your iPhone/iPad and it will calibrate the
internal compass for you.

2) Make sure you're not near any metal or magnetic sources and try using the
app with the iPad or iPhone flat. Some phone cases can have metallic parts (like a magnetic clasp)
too which might interfere with the compass so might be worth trying it
without any case.

3) Open the phone 'Settings->Compass' page and enable the button that says
'true north'

I'm also happy to refund you via Apple if you prefer, just let me know.

Thanks
Tony

### 5/5 — Just found this app

*2025-01-31, version 2.1*

I’ve been fitting aerials for 35 years, I wish this sort of tool was available then. Easy to use and just brilliant!

### 5/5 — Does what it says on the tin

*2025-01-11, version 2.1*

Great app for locating the strongest transmitter. Easy to use and worth the money. Thanks

### 5/5 — Great app for motorhome use

*2024-12-28, version 2.1*

The app works great & can use your GPS position or a postcode. My postcode search initially didn’t work because my iPhone was set to English>US English language. The developer quickly responded & once I’d changed language to UK English the post code searches matched the GPS searches. I am in the UK.

Good app & good genuine human support.

### 5/5 — Simple but Effective

*2024-11-29, version 2.1*

Great little app. At first the compass was 180 degrees out. This may be due to case magnet. Close app and power off phone. Remove case and power up again and open app.
Should be accurate north.

### 4/5 — Excellent easy to use and accurate

*2024-11-01*

I would give it 5 stars if it had a visual indication of signal strength when it’s not convenient to use sound.

### 5/5 — Easy Peasy

*2024-09-28, version 2.1*

Brilliant, easy and has saved me all sorts of motorhome headaches. Don’t hesitate to pay for this…you won’t regret it. Thank you for a great, simple app that works.

### 5/5 — You may only use it once

*2024-09-03*

But it’s worth 99p - for some insane reason, my rented house has no TV aerial, just an ancient satellite dish. So I bought the cheapest, 90s style aerial I could find and plugged it in an ageing TalkTalk box, end suffered corrupted signal for 6 month.

In a fit of rage, I searched the App Store for a solution and was slightly annoyed there was nothing free and took a punt on this app from the reviews.

Well, in about 30 seconds, I have the aerial pointing in the correct direction and like a 100 channels. Worth every penny and probably more. It’s so good, this is the first real review I’ve ever bothered to write.

TL:DR App works good - TV happy 🫡🫡

### 2/5 — Canaux

*2024-07-07*

Les canaux des répéteurs tnt ne sont pas à jour.

### 5/5 — Does what you want it to

*2024-07-05, version 2.1*

I’ve only used the app once, it worked and it was easy to use, it gives a choice of transmitters, you move the compass and follow the beeps until you get optimal direction

### 5/5 — Superb little app

*2024-06-22, version 2.1*

This is an absolutely brilliant little app works perfectly and we’ve used it every time we go away.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Hopeless at best

*2025-08-03, version 2.1*

I have a compass, North is in a totally different direction than when using this app. Uninstall due.

### 1/5 — 30° off target

*2025-05-30, version 2.1*

Very inaccurate indicator was around 30° out. I tried postcode and current location, both showed the same error. I can see the tv transmitter mast from my back garden so it is easy to see the huge error. I checked my phones compass and sat nav locations and they were fine.

### 1/5 — Mr

*2024-12-14*

Very disappointed. The app not showing how to finding.

### 1/5 — Hopeless

*2024-10-01, version 2.1*

Very poor app, not even worth the 0.99p. Changes the location of the transmitter every time you go back in to it.

### 1/5 — Inutile

*2024-07-18*

Application inutile. Pas précise du tout. Me propose deux relais mais ce n'étaient pas les bons. Le bon était à l'opposé de ceux proposés.

### 1/5 — Problem with antenna direction using App

*2024-06-19, version 2.1*

Used the App successfully to locate Rowridge VP antenna on 18/6/24 but on rechecking signal on 19/6/24 the App showed a completely different and obviously incorrect direction. Contacted App administrator but no reply so unfortunately conclusion is App not fit for purpose .

### 1/5 — Effectively is the same as the compass App

*2024-06-08, version 2.1*

I thought there would be something else to this app but essentially it is the same as the compass app. If you google the local transmitters it will give you a bearing (for me 212 degrees). I tried that first and then thought this would offer more but it doesn’t. Don’t bother if you know the bearing of the nearest transmitter.

### 1/5 — Z

*2024-03-02*

Does not help to point your caravan antenna

**Developer response:** Hi, sorry to hear it’s not working for you. Please get in touch via the button in the app and hopefully I can help solve the issue. Thanks!

### 1/5 — müll funktioniert nicht

*2023-06-27*

schrott

**Developer response:** Hallo

Danke
Tony

Działa dobrze

### 5/5 — Outstanding!

*2025-07-06*

We have always struggled to get decent TV signal in our home cinema room, even after installing a booster we still couldn’t receive HD channels. Figured for £1 this app was worth a go…..

Genuinely outstanding results, entered our postcode, adjusted the aerial to exactly where the app said it would work best and with a quick retune of the TV, we now have all the available HD channels! Superb, very impressed!

### 5/5 — Simple, effective, invaluable.

*2025-06-12, version 2.1*

As the title - the perfect app for nomads.
