### 2/5 — Please fix the zoom

*2026-06-19, version 2.3.2*

Useful if I could actually zoom in on the map without it zooming out automatically after a couple seconds. Should be possible to make this improvement.

### 2/5 — Zoom is broken

*2026-04-05, version 2.3.2*

Appreciate the simplicity of the app, but zooming in immediately zooms back out and it’s very annoying

### 2/5 — Well, allow me to stay zoomed in. Worthless.

*2026-01-10, version 2.3.2*

Trying to pinpoint my stations locally… I live in Seattle and only wish to see local stations within a 15 mile radius. Every time I zoom in, to tap on stations for info, the app auto zooms back out again showing almost the entire state. Can’t control view fidelity (iOS). Going to look for another app.

### 4/5 — Works very well for my area but…

*2025-12-28, version 2.3.2*

…I wish I could figure out how to move the center dot to another zip code/GPS location. I did not experience any issue with zoom level though:
1) Rotation can be touchy when trying to get image to reorient to North is up.
2) Definitely works better on large iPad screen.

### 4/5 — Works fine for my area but…

*2025-12-25*

…I wish I could figure out how to move the center dot to other zip codes. (I did not experience any issue with zoom level or overall usability for my area.)

### 1/5 — Don’t try and zoom

*2025-11-22, version 2.3.2*

Sorry for the one star but there are a just few minor tweaks that could fix this app. If there are multiple stations close in proximity I can only click on one but there could be multiple underneath. If you try to zoom in it immediately automatically zooms back out to max radius, and that limits severely what you can see. In addition, it would be nice to have some labels or an on/off of at least the station call letters. This really could be a helpful app if you could fix those little issues.

### 1/5 — Please fix this app!!!

*2025-11-15, version 2.3.2*

This is probably a great app but it snaps back every time you try to zoom in 🤪

### 1/5 — No zoom function

*2025-11-11, version 2.3.2*

The supposed zoom function is useless making the app pretty much useless as well.

### 1/5 — Useless - should be removed from App Store

*2025-11-06, version 2.3.2*

Cannot zoom in. The map is so zoomed out that all the towers are in a single small dot that I cannot see the direction. Double tapping to zoom in does nothing. This must be an old app that is no longer supported.

### 1/5 — Not for Canadian

*2025-10-25, version 2.3.2*

This app does not work for Canadian OTA TV towers. At least not for the Ottawa region.

### 2/5 — Cannot zoom

*2025-10-19, version 2.3.2*

I have a cluster of antennas and I can’t zoom in on the cluster to investigate which channels are available. When I zoom in, the display snaps back to the full screen. So I have no clue if I’m pointing my antenna in the right direction.

Using this app to aim an antenna is exactly the same as not using this app: just point it and spin around and hope that you find the right direction.

### 1/5 — nothing

*2025-09-23, version 2.3.2*

no antennas show up in the map, useless zero stars

### 3/5 — Zero Canadian Channels

*2025-09-13, version 2.3.2*

Nice app but for those of us living near the border, app shows no Canadian channels

### 1/5 — Map zooms out too quickly to get a read on antenna towers.

*2025-09-07, version 2.3.2*

Frustrating app to use aiming antenna when up on the roof.

### 4/5 — Works

*2025-08-30, version 2.3.2*

Works well. Wish it showed signal strength. But will get the job done.

### 1/5 — Even for free, not worth the effort

*2025-06-28, version 2.3.2*

The app allows me to resize by tapping or pinching to zoom. As soon as the app zooms it immediately returns to the original view. Worthless when all the local stations are so close to the center at the default zoom level.

### 1/5 — Not Functional in Australia

*2025-06-18, version 2.3.2*

Does not seem to work in Australia, no towers shown.

### 2/5 — I agree, zoom doesn’t work.

*2025-05-09, version 2.3.2*

I have to join in with the other reviews that say the zoom snaps back so it’s unusable. I have yet to get any kind of helpful result from this app, which is a shame because it’s a service that is needed.

### 1/5 — Not working

*2025-05-06, version 2.3.2*

Not working

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Useless

*2026-07-05, version 2.3.2*

Couldn’t find any transmitters with 70miles and yet I can set one from where I am

### 1/5 — Not Usable

*2026-07-02, version 2.3.2*

The app works fine for identifying local antennas. But when you try to punch in to get a closer look at the antennas, it immediately snaps back to full screen view. Makes it impossible to use.

### 1/5 — Zoom doesn’t work

*2026-05-10, version 2.3.2*

As others have said. Zoom doesn’t work. It will automatically reset to the full view.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t understand directions

*2026-04-19, version 2.3.2*

The compass within the app inaccurate by 90-180 degrees. Recommending the opposite positioning for the antenna.

Would not recommend.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2026-03-14, version 2.3.2*

Useless

### 1/5 — Avoid

*2026-02-09, version 2.3.2*

It’s not picking up any towers near me in Kent in the uk when I know there is one within 10miles from me this app is rubbish

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work in Portland

*2026-01-28, version 2.3.2*

No towers shown at all

### 1/5 — Useless

*2026-01-02, version 2.3.2*

Zoom does not work. When trying to zoom in on the map to see information about towers, immediately zooms out for no reason. So the map remains zoomed out thus unable to see any tower information in map mode.

### 1/5 — Compass feature is horrible

*2025-12-29, version 2.3.2*

The compass does not calibrate. It’s pointing anywhere from 90 to 180 degrees off. I see no way to calibrate this function. As well, if you zoom in it immediately zooms out when you change directions. This is basically only good as a static map of where towers should be located….and it’s not even great at that.

### 1/5 — No good in UK!

*2025-12-17, version 2.3.2*

No good in UK!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — The best tool for aiming your antenna

*2026-01-01, version 2.3.2*

This is by far the easiest to use of any antenna aiming apps. Very accurate and especially useful for trying to pull in out of market stations.

### 5/5 — Worked like a charm

*2024-10-13, version 2.3.2*

I live kinda out there and got a pretty decent antenna, but was having to move it around all the time. I opened the app and got all the insight I needed in about 30 seconds. Moved my antenna setup and I get like 50+ new channels and quality HD Fox 4 for Cowboys games LETS GO! Thank you for this app it saved my game day and hours of frustrating rescanning on the TV.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2024-03-11, version 2.3.2*

I used the app, and it works great for helping you with your antenna, I got 4 channels to work that I did not have before I used the app and moved my antenna now all my antenna
Channels are completely clear and have no problems with sound and picture quality, and it’s a wonderful app for people who want their antennas to work better!

### 5/5 — perfect

*2023-07-28, version 2.2.4*

Works great for what I needed it for!

### 5/5 — Simple and effective

*2023-06-17, version 2.2.4*

Use the app to find your towers. Lay your phone flat on the antenna if possible and line it up as close as you can to the desired tower. Turn the phone as needed to line up the arrow toward the tower. After this, turn the “level” app on your phone (or get a regular level) and make sure your antenna is perfectly level. Tighten the bolts then rescan your tv and you should be good to go. This is so easy to use and I couldn’t have set the antenna without it.

### 5/5 — Simple, easy

*2023-04-17, version 2.2.4*

I ditched cable years ago and usually watch Netflix, Paramount+, or YouTube TV. I wanted the option to watch local channels, so I bought an OTA antenna. This app made it easy to point the antenna in the direction of the transmitters in my area. I had used a antenna aiming web page and a compass, but this was way easier. 👍🏻

### 5/5 — Worked perfect

*2022-04-16, version 2.2.3*

Worked perfect. No adds, no purchases or other annoying crap. Cannot imagine why anyone would not give for stars.

### 5/5 — Works well

*2021-05-13, version 1.9.5*

Has a compass to show direction and shows where the broadcast towers are. Very good and easy to use.

### 5/5 — Excellent App!!!

*2021-02-24, version 1.9.5*

This app helped me easily set up my new antenna. Love the feature that gives you the channel lineup. Nicely done Antennas Direct!!!

### 5/5 — Nice app

*2021-01-09, version 1.9.5*

Helped to aim my antenna in the attic to find the best direction to point it. I had to move my antenna a couple of times but I did get all my local channels. Thank you very much!! Good app and serves it purpose!!
