Because I set a slope zone, and robot cut in counter-slope. ### 3/5 — Impressed AND Dissapointed *2025-04-21* 1- Zone management simply does not work. 2- Will not mow the edges of my lawn even though the surface adjacent to the edge is no higher than the ground 1- Adding a zone creates a rectangular area on the display that cannot be mapped. The instructional video on the website called “Multi-zone mapping” has nothing to do with multiple zones. It is only about expanding the existing map. Impossible to select a zone to mow. You have to mow it all or none. OR you can have fun mowing the rectangular areas you can create with the useless add zoned feature. 2- I have to use my lawnmower to go over the edges? What’s the point????? ### 1/5 — I really want this to work but… *2025-04-20* The app and ANTHBOT have a huge potential and I will update my review as the system improves, but right now it has deep flaws: ANTHBOT can leave the perimeter and wonder around the road, I am worried that it will Get run over The map that is created during localization seems to be about 60 cm - 1 meter off from what the bot executes. I have to add tons of nogo zones to offset the issues mapping ### 4/5 — Good start for a new mower *2025-03-23* The app performs well. I was able to set up my maps easily. Overall, I’m very happy with the Anthbot Genie! Pros: 1/ The U/I is straightforward. I was able to navigate the setup options easily. 2/ When you map a separate area on the map, it’ll remember the path you took to get there. 3/ The app hasn’t crashed. For a brand new app, that’s impressive. 4/ The app provides dimensions when creating zones, which made it easy to break up the map based on how much the mower can handle on one charge. 5/ Each zone can be customized with cutting height and number of passes. 6/ You can create a LOT of zones to customize your mowing routine. Cons: 1/ The app doesn’t allow you to schedule individual zones to be mowed. 2/ You can’t delete a portion of the map. If you make a mistake like I did, you’ll have to delete the whole map and start over. This includes editing paths between mowing areas. 3/ Receiving notifications from the app is inconsistent. I get less than half of them. 4/ (minor) Zones can’t be rotated, making it difficult to break up certain mowing areas that don’t quite fit in the rectangle without overlapping another section of the map. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Schlimmer geht immer *2026-08-05* Ein Paradebeispiel wie ein Userinterface für einen Mähroboter nicht seim sollte. Derjenige der das designt hat, hat wohl vorher in der Saugroboter Abteilung gearbeitet. Es fehlen wichtige Funktionalitäten (zB befahre Zonen) andere sind total schlecht durchdacht ( Autozonen, Zonen Konzept). Bitte dringend mal die Apps der Mitbewerber anschauen, von deren Funtionalität ist Anthbot weit entfernt. ### 1/5 — Doesn't worth its money *2026-07-11* Очень долгая настройка. При попытке создания зоны с помощью робота часто вылезает ошибка, а при небольшом его касание все слетает и также происходит ошибка. Для того, чтобы возобновить процесс нужно вернуть робота на станцию вручную пользуясь все тем же приложением. Насчет робота, не проходит в места, которые по сути подходят по его габаритам, даже если простроить мосты, часто попадает в какие-то неровности и выдает ошибку. Тупит и не скашивает большинство объектов, а заряд совсем микроскопический, хватит минут на 40 максимум, что очень мало, сравнивая с его скоростью кошения. Мокрую траву не косит и переносит много грязи на участок. Whenever I try to enter the network name it and me to my iPhone settings. I have the location service turned on as well as Bluetooth, which connects just fine, but still it sends me back to that same spot everytime no matter what. It’s infuriating. Wäre es möglich, dass ich nicht drei Zonen übereinander legen muss um täglich eine andere Richtung fahren zu lassen? Но почему-то пропал русский язык. ### 5/5 — Fantastic experience *2025-06-30* ANTHBOT has been faithfully publishing frequent updates with helpful new features, and when I did have one issue pop up, they pushed a firmware update for me to test in less than a week! ### 4/5 — Überarbeitet und deutlich verbessert *2026-07-10* Erst nach Firmware update wurden überhaupt Satelliten angezeigt. Auch nach mehrfachen Kontakt mit dem Support, der sich auch nur sehr unregelmäßig rück meldet, zeigt die App nicht an wo er gemäht hat und auch nicht das überhaupt gemäht wurde . Wenn man während des mähens auf das Handy schaut sieht man , wo der Mäher ist , toll … Aber aufzeichnen tut die App das nicht . Da muss dringend nachgearbeitet werden. Mittlerweile ist die Firmenware und auch die App überarbeitet worden und man sieht wieder die Mail Aufzeichnungen und auch wann und wie der Meyer gemäht hat und da kann ich mal von ein auf 4 Sterne erhöhen. Ich hoffe, man verbessert sich weiter, aber das sieht nach einem guten Weg aus. ### 4/5 — App-Funktionalität *2026-07-09* Es wäre sehr hilfreich, wenn man in der App die rechteckigen No-Go-Zonen drehen könnte.
