### 5/5 — User friendly tool to help better understand our mood and mental wellbeing

*2025-09-05, version 1.3.0*

This App is very user friendly and it’s quick and easy to get set up and in. I’ve used the calendar to track my mood, triggers etc. and even just consciously doing this step regularly I have found it calming as it reminds me that each day is different. After a couple of weeks I’m already noticing patterns and am using the guided routines to small steps in the right direction.

### 5/5 — I love this apl

*2025-08-29, version 1.3.0*

I’m dancing. I’m dancing because this app has been a game-changer for my mental health — easy to use, calming, and super helpful. Love it!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2025-08-26, version 1.2.0*

Great app with one of the best and easiest onboarding processes I’ve seen. Excellent support for feeling better and maintaining mental health on a daily basis.

### 5/5 — Smart & Seamless Tool!

*2025-08-17, version 1.1*

I love how effortless this app is. It pulls from tools I already use (sleep, activity etc) so no extra work or daily chores in my already busy life. The best part is how it predicts my mood, giving me a chance to adapt and change course before I hit a low point. Smart, seamless and super helpful tool!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2025-08-14, version 1.1*

Such a great app! Really easy to use. Love that I can just tap things impacting my mood and the app is getting really good at mood tracking for me! So much better than apps where I have to journal every day or I need to use different monitors.

### 5/5 — Helpful start

*2025-08-12, version 1.1*

It’s only been a week, but the app’s already picked up on a possible link between my travel and how I sleep. It even made me realise I’d been using the wrong prepositions without noticing — now I’m fixing that, and hopefully my sleep will get better.

### 5/5 — Mental health made easy

*2025-08-07, version 1.1*

This app is super sleek and has a nice and easy onboarding experience. Everything is well explained, all the privacy fears have been addressed before you get the chance to think the thought! Oh and it has an AI bot that helps you talk through your current mood! Genius!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Privacy!

*2026-05-17, version 2.6.1*

Instantly deleted when I saw it required me to give access to Apple Health to monitor steps and location. Suppose to be a mental health app not a fitness app. I’m just don’t want my precise location logged by an app!

### 1/5 — Didn’t really do anything

*2025-10-22, version 1.8.0*

The app seems to make the same canned responses based on a few metrics. I didn’t see any benefit from the app, I’d check in occasionally and it just give me basically the same info it gave me the past couple of days. It has some baked in LLM but I never bothered with this feature.

Wouldn’t bother with this app, as it just pulls info from Apple health and gives you a generic “how you’re feeling today” estimate. You’re better off from a privacy standpoint and been able to read more in depth info by sticking with Apple Health.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work on iPad

*2025-09-26, version 1.5.0*

### 2/5 — Needs non- Face ID option, too intrusive

*2025-09-25, version 1.5.0*

What- ?!

Fair enough that going back and reading the description it very clearly states that it “requires” Face ID, so good on you for including that and that’s bad on me for not noticing until after I downloaded, started the onboarding and a pop up came up stating it won’t work without Face ID!

NO, I purposely do not use Face ID and I certainly am not setting up Face ID just so I can track moods…Face ID is incredibly intrusive and UNSAFE and could be abused by others down the road, despite your company’s beliefs to the contrary.

A mood tracking app should not “need” my facial data to operate, period. Just another set of personal data to be concerned about and people should have one eyebrow app when considering using apps that demand this technology be used in order to work. Slippery slope.

Nothing against your app, it’s the required technology that is the problem. Please delete any data related to this account on your end, thanks.

### 5/5 — A breath of fresh air!

*2026-05-21, version 2.6.1*

Love this app so much, it’s a massive help and the app itself is lovely to use. The interface is uncluttered, easy to navigate and the overall experience feels tailored (I can even control timings of notifications!)

So good!

### 5/5 — Mental health made easy

*2026-05-02, version 2.6.1*

UPDATE: I’m now 6 months into using the app and I can’t believe how good it has been in keeping track of my mood. It’s helped me take more intentional pauses and not put as much pressure on myself. I also love the “notes for therapy” section, which neatly summarises my tags, notes, sleep patterns etc and forms a great structure for my therapy sessions. I’ve recommended this app to all my friends!

### 5/5 — Therapy helper

*2026-04-30, version 2.6.1*

I often forget what I wanted to discuss in therapy, and Anticipate has been great at helping me prepare for it. It does the job really well.

### 5/5 — Great Tool

*2025-10-03, version 1.6.0*

The developers reached out to me immediately when I had an issue with the app. And had the app update within hours.

This is a great resource. I actually really appreciate that the notifications aren’t pushy. My PDA has me turning notifications off for most apps.

## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Liable to be review updates

*2025-09-29, version 1.5.0*

I like Anticipate! Only had it a short time but I’m feeling it’s going to be successful

### 5/5 — Beautiful interface

*2025-09-27, version 1.5.0*

Just heard about it off Reddit, decided to try it out and it’s pretty well made, very visually pleasing too, don’t have much data for my health rn but eager to connect it to this app soon! Keep up the good work :)

### 5/5 — 3 Days and I’m Hooked!

*2025-09-27, version 1.5.0*

It’s such a well-considered app, and does very well at taking the data it ingests and presenting it in a way that helps me feel seen. And Phil’s a good bud to chat with.

Wish it had dark mode, but it just launched. They’ll get there.

### 5/5 — see how you’ll feel tomorrow, today

*2025-09-21, version 1.4.1*

I’m one month in and really liking this app. Most mood trackers only show you what already happened. Anticipate predicts how today’s mood and habits are likely to shape how i’ll feel tomorrow (and beyond). That forward-looking piece is what made it stick for me.

It’s one thing to know bad sleep or too much travel could have a negative impact on my mood, but seeing it mapped as a trend over time (and projected forward) actually motivated me to act and course-correct before things slid.

Other things I like: the UI is clean, logging takes seconds (important—every tracker should be this fast), and the visuals are easy on the eyes. Small detail, but it actually made a big difference in wanting to keep using it.

I’m a data nerd and lifelong habit tracker, and Anticipate is one of the better mood tracking options out there. Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Simple and clever

*2025-09-17, version 1.4.1*

The simplicity of this app, combining important data points really work for me.

### 5/5 — Love the app

*2025-09-14, version 1.4.1*

Love this app! It tracks my mood automatically without me having to do anything. Feels like magic the way it uses data from my phone — super easy and really helpful.
