The game itself is great but there are buttons on the left side of the screen that are covered by the island. I can still interact with them and the game is still playable but I had to learn what they did through trial and error cause I can’t actually read them. Still recommend the game, just hope they fix that soon cause I’m pretty sure all 15 models will have the island. ### 2/5 — Preview *2021-09-25* I wish that these developers would allow you to play a portion of the game before purchase. This has been in my recommended games for years. I purchased. I didn’t care for it. This isn’t an indictment of the game itself which appears to have great artwork, a very decent tutorial, & interesting elements. I just didn’t find it to be what I thought it would be. I’m not rating low because I was bored, I’m rating low because I had to pay to find out that it was boring. Also, the inability to customize the main character is always death to a game for me. We are not all white men. ### 3/5 — Game is great. Campaign is aggravating. *2020-10-08* Everything about the game from its art to its flavor to its play is great. But the campaign is extremely frustrating because the AI opponent is so overpowered. Rather than having an even, if asymmetrical, playing field, you feel as if your strategy doesn't matter because it's more of a case of having to do specific moves in a specific order to win. The AI opponent gets powers of the bat that might take you 10 rounds to earn for yourself which completely undermines the area control aspect. If the opponent can evict you in round two and you can't get that power until round twelve, why even try to control the area? It's unfair even to call it an AI because it doesn't have any intelligence. It doesn't change its strategy according to your moves. It just uses brute force to disable you. That is my least favorite kind of solo game -- one that acts like a random puzzle where if you don't make the right move in round one that will defeat the opponent, you've already lost. This messes with strategy, wastes turns, gives the AI opportunity to gain the upper hand. Vor allem die Vertonung der Charaktere ist hervorragend! Gameplay: Simpel aber mit taktischem Anspruch. Die Kampagne ist leider etwas kurz 4-5 Stunden aber macht viel Spass. Die einzigen In-App Käufe sind Skins für den Hauptcharakter, es gibt einen Hotseat Modus (Super!) und online Spielfunktion. Es sollte mehr solche „richtigen“ Spiele geben! Kritik: die etwas kurze Kampagne, super gestaltet, „Drei Ecken“ war meine lieblings Mission. Es wäre toll wenn die Kampagne ca. I find that it’s more strategic than it is fun though. But if that the type of game you want go for it. I think that it weakness is that there never a point where you just unlock everything and just dominate the map. Your always playing strategical always near the point of losing which has It’s own merits, with the whole balancing the game and all. But it not what I’m looking for in a game at the moment. Am besten sind die Duelle mit Freunden auf dem selben Gerät im selben Raum. Schade ist das die Kampagne sehr kurz und einfach ist. Und das man im Multiplayer live-Spiel nie ein Gegner findet und im lockeren Spiel alle direkt Afk gehen und man gerade erst 2 Runden gespielt hat. Vielleicht kann dies optimiert werden. Ich glaube das es aber wegen dem für ein Handyspiel recht hohen Preis wenige Spieler gibt. Obwohl sich das Geld an dieser Stelle total gelohnt hat. The graphics are great, the IA is challenging, and it’s a surprisingly deep and tactical game. Care and thought has been put into every element (including the sound design) and it shows. It’s sort of like Stratego meets Monopoly. My only complaint is that the game is too short, and even on Hard, is a little too easy (but that’s subjective). The campaign only has ten levels, and first few are just tutorial-style; probably only two or three levels where all units are unlocked. I beat the whole thing in under three hours, which is fine for just a few bucks. But even the Skirmishes against AI are pretty repetitive, and skirmishes against real players feels like Words With Friends—waiting for the other person to take turns means games last for days on end, and you end up starting so many that you forget what’s happening. I wish they’d made more levels since the game is wildly addicting. Also, the win conditions boil down to mainly the same strategy and is slightly unbalanced. Make a gang, protect the gang’s movements with thugs, rinse and repeat. Gangs are just so OP since they can clear out buildings, can generate up to 3 gold a kill, and can assassinate for victory points. Why even bother with other units when you can just spam and protect gangs? A fully stocked bank makes the same money per turn as a fully upgraded gang. ### 5/5 — Хорошая игра *2019-03-24* Русский язык присутствует!!! Долго думал брать ли игру так как не знаю Английского. Would of given five stars had there been more depth to the characters and back story. Seems like you could add lots more ways to make the game more strategic and less repetitive by just adding a few new classes of characters with more unique buildings that provide different buffs etc. Youve got a solid game so far and to me the possibilities seem endless. It doesn’t matter if you have all of (say 4 ) lamp generating places they will still earn more than you and can buy 4 thugs with 3 coins and 1 urchin in an orphanage. The game is polished but not balanced at all. With the Ai it’s more a hit and miss whether they get less useful. I once ended up on normal difficulty with an AI who had the Sister upgrade from thier first go. That costs 10 lamps in total to buy the upgrade. In total, the game has no glitches but is almost completely unfair in terms of what you get and what the AI gets Don’t play.
