AnyDecentMusic? is an album review aggregator providing a constantly-updated chart of the highest-rated current contemporary music albums. Each day more than 50 music review publications from around the world are surveyed and their ratings, extracts and links included. Everything on ADM has been manually selected and added. It doesn't automatically sweep up anything and everything relating to every album release, so music fans get the most relevant content. The ADM App allows you to view the Current Chart, which covers the last six weeks. Each album receives a rating once it has 5 reviews. You can also view charts from the past 12 months and "All-Time" (from ADM's 7-year lifetime). You can read album review extracts, which link to the original review. You can hear the album via Spotify, watch song videos and purchase albums or songs via iTunes. There is a Just In area that allows you to see the most recent albums added to the App. You can also check the Latest Reviews and browse the Highest Recent Ratings. The basic version of the App gives you: • Access to a limited number of the Current Chart albums. • The ADM Rating and most recent review extracts for those albums. • Access to a limited number of albums in the Just In area. The list works, at least. ### 1/5 — "Stolen" my money *2016-07-01, version 1.2.0* ADM have a very good website and the app used to provide a good service. I subscribed for a year with no complaints. After re-subscribing a few weeks ago, the app did not recognise my subscription. I logged out and back in, deleted and reinstalled with no effect. I contacted the admins with a copy of the Apple email and had no reply. So now I have the very limited free app and a lighter wallet. I cannot recommend a subscription at the moment, sorry. ### 1/5 — Paid??!! *2015-09-13, version 1.1.1* Cynical app that asks you to pay for information freely available online! I was excited when I saw that they had created this, expecting it to allow me a good indulgent trawl through many albums and reviews, and so was very disappointed to find it is subscription! Tried the free version for a while then decided to get the full version. Don't get the comments about having to pay for the service. Not everything in life is free!! Noticed on the site that they see this as a way to support the service. Rock on! It's my go to app for new music tips. Discovered so many great acts that I would normally never have given the time of day to. I'm an indie rock fan but find myself listening to many other genres now because of ADM ### 2/5 — Great service spoilt by pointless subscriptions *2015-06-26, version 1.1.1* I've been enjoying using the Any Decent Music website for some time so was glad to see an app to present it more suitably on iOS. Sadly, and to restate other comments, the author decided to try and make some bucks by pointlessly restricting the functionality. As also said before, the full content is one click away in Safari. Ah but the website is poorly written and has one fixed layout with no mobile responsive layouts. However, the lack of iPhone 6/6+ optimization is a total bummer and the subscription is a little much.
