ONE TIME PAYMENT. I wasted a lot of time looking for it. Using the find-my-phone option would only approximate the phone’s location, if it worked at all. Not anymore. I downloaded “Any Text,” entered pertinent information and voilà! No more issues. I still misplace it, but anyone who finds it knows where to return it, and I get it back quickly. ### 2/5 — Family Sharing Doesn’t Work *2025-02-03* Love the app, however, it states that it supports Family Sharing. I have Family Sharing set up correctly and have followed the instructions on how to share an app. Under purchased apps, when I select this one, a share button should appear. It does not. Apple support is of no help. Anyone know how to share this app with family? **Developer response:** You will have to contact Apple about that. Developers like me have no control over this. ### 4/5 — An exceptional app except for one area. *2025-02-01* It would really be nice if once I put a note up on my phone, there was some kind of a protection to keep my notes from being edited in error from miss handling of the phone screen on my part. I’ve lost a lot information because it got edited in error when I was handling my phone. I just updated to the latest version this will be addressed in that. If it wasn’t for this little thing, it would definitely be a five star. **Developer response:** You can set the “Widget Tap Action” setting to “None”. You can tell the developer knows how to work around a lot of the bugs that plague other apps, usually because of Apple's bad coding. ### 5/5 — So useful *2026-02-03* This is a fantastic utility. It's useful at a basic level - for example having a widget reminding me to buy milk or my hotel room number on my watch and phone. Its real power comes from its integration with Apple shortcuts. I interrogate a web API in an automation and - if the result needs my attention - I can not only change the text of a widget but also have it appear as a live event on my phone, watch and Mac. I had asked a question about a specific function, and they responded promptly. IMHO well worth the money! ### 5/5 — Surprisingly useful!! *2025-03-23* My wife and I recently had our first child and when she heads to sleep with our daughter, I occasionally miss important text message notifications from her. I'll have "announce notifications" on, not silenced and somehow I kept having to constantly look at my phone and manually check for messages. Sometimes the notification on the Home Screen would get pushed down so I would open the messages app just to be safe. Too often I didn't see a timely text message until later than I would have liked. Enter Any Text to the rescue!! I have a Shortcuts Personal Automation that sets an Any Text widget to the last message my wife sent me. Paired with a Lock Screen widget (for normal use) and even better, a Standby widget (for when I'm working or sleeping) I can take a breath and rest assured that the last message my wife sent me will *ALWAYS* be visible on my screen. It's so simple and so friggin effective and useful. The only issue for me was that Shortcuts always wants to display a notification telling you the personal automation has just run. This was so annoying but I found out that you can turn off notifications for the Shortcuts app altogether via a tricky little route through Screen Time - google it if you would like to do the same. ### 5/5 — Easy to use *2025-03-13* Really great and simple to use --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
