## What is Anybeat Metronome?

What happens when you combine a step sequencer, a drum machine, and a metronome?

Anybeat Metronome is a precise, interactive, programmable metronome for musicians who need more than a repeating click.

Setting a 6-6-6-7 beat with accents used to take a while. Now it is as fun as playing it.

BUILD THE RHYTHM

• Drag to add or remove beats
• Hold to create an accent and split a row
• Drag to paint multiple beats
• Type 332 to create 3 + 3 + 2
• Choose quarter, eighth, triplet or sixteenth-note pulses
• Swipe between saved songs without stopping playback

POLYRHYTHM

AnyBeat Pro lets Rhythm 1, Rhythm 2, and Rhythm 3 play together. Choose one cycle for polyrhythm or one pulse for polymeter. Every rhythm runs from the same clock.

PRACTICE WITH INTENT

• Rhythm Training mutes random beats or full cycles
• Choose low, medium or high challenge
• See practice minutes, sessions, completed loops and streaks
• Keep playback going with the screen locked
• Follow playback from the Live Activity and Dynamic Island

FIND YOUR CLICK

Choose from nine built-in sound families, or record your own accent, beat and soft sounds.

M4A EXPORT

Export 1 to 64 complete loops as an M4A. Send the exact tempo, accents and pulse division to anyone, whether they have AnyBeat or not.

ANYBEAT PRO

Anybeat Metronome is free to download. Build rhythms, control tempo, save up to three patterns, and practice with three sound families for free. AnyBeat Pro adds polyrhythms, unlimited saved patterns, all nine sound families, custom sound recording, every Rhythm Training mode, M4A export and Practice History.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.5 — 2026-09-26

Polyrhythms now have individual sound choices for each rhythm. We also fixed playback so secondary rhythms use their selected beat and accent sounds consistently.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-09-18

AnyBeat now supports iOS 17 and iOS 18, so more musicians can download and use the app.

The full experience on iOS 26 and later remains unchanged.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-08

Added Contact at the bottom of the menu, so you can share feedback or ask for help without leaving the app.

Fixed silent secondary rhythms when reopening a saved polyrhythm or changing beat counts, tempo, and rhythm lanes during playback.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-07

Meet Anybeat Metronome: a new name for your rhythm-building metronome.

Polyrhythm, right beside the beat controls.

Build Rhythm 1, Rhythm 2, and Rhythm 3 while they run from the same clock. Choose one cycle for polyrhythm or one pulse for polymeter.

• Type grouped patterns with the numeric keyboard
• Choose quarter, eighth, triplet or sixteenth-note pulses
• See practice minutes, streaks, sessions and completed loops
