### 2/5 — iOS Lock screen widget removed

*2026-08-31, version 7.0.4*

No use for this app with the removal of the lock screen widget. Used to be my go to for glancing at my shopping list but now, with that feature gone, it serves no useful purpose. May as well use my notepad

### 4/5 — No tiene la opción de retroceder

*2026-08-30, version 7.0.4*

Buen aplicativo lo usamos siempre pero no tiene la opción de retroceder porque muchas veces tachamos algo de la lista por error y no sabemos cómo encontrarlo

### 5/5 — My Go To App

*2026-08-29, version 7.0.4*

This by far and above the most clicked on icon on my phone. I love that I can import recipes.

### 5/5 — Lifesaver

*2026-08-29, version 7.0.4*

I’ve had AnyList for several years now and it has saved me a lot of time. I have separate lists for grocery stores and packing lists. I also use it for meal planning. The email/text function is great because I send various family members the lists and they follow them.

### 5/5 — AnyList is remarkable!

*2026-08-29, version 7.0.4*

My husband does most of the grocery shopping and we both love this app. We have lists specific to our favorite local stores, and even one for our Farmers Market. Add any item to the list, then check it off when it goes into your cart at the store. It’s incredible!

### 5/5 — Love it

*2026-08-29, version 7.0.4*

I love using recipes to create my lists. I wish I could view multiple lists combined when I am at the store.

### 5/5 — Best shopping Shopping App

*2026-08-29, version 7.0.4*

Go no further than this App. I’d tried many but no more. This is the best & easiest.

### 5/5 — Best App Ever!

*2026-08-28, version 7.0.4*

My friend told me about this app and at first I was reluctant to give up my paper list. Now I use it for EVERYTHING! I have my Florida packing list on here. I have my Costco list, my Aldi list, my Walmart list, my annual perennial list and so much more! I love that I can share the grocery list with my husband, so if he’s getting groceries, he can use the list and cross off the items on his phone. I got both my kids hooked on this list and tell everyone about it. Love it!

### 5/5 — LOVE

*2026-08-28, version 7.0.4*

It makes life easier

### 5/5 — Best checklist app! Much more than just grocery

*2026-08-28, version 7.0.4*

I’ve spent most of my life looking for a good general purpose checklist tool, and this is far and away the best. I’ve even persuaded my paper checklist loving wife to share shopping and other lists with me (and the sync is pretty solid too). Great for everything - shopping, task lists, checklists, packing for trips and many more. Well worth the Anylist Complete subscription to unlock extra features and pay back the developers for all their time. Brilliant, highly recommended.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-08-28, version 7.0.4*

I find this app functional and very easy to use. Extremely helpful!

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2026-08-27, version 7.0.4*

Easy to use as an individual and/or with multiple people. Easy to share recipes.

### 4/5 — Near Perfect

*2026-08-26, version 7.0.4*

I wish the ingredients database was user-editable, or more ingredients would be added to the database.

For example—species of sugars, besides granulated and powdered. Flours (unbleached, AP, 00, etc.).

### 5/5 — Must have for busy families

*2026-08-26, version 7.0.4*

This app has been my anchor for years, saving me hours of work and planning. Sanity saver!

### 5/5 — What an Amazing App

*2026-08-24, version 7.0.4*

We used to use a small magnetic white board on our fridge to create a list of things to buy from the grocery store. Which meant that when it was time to go to the store it had to be copied onto paper. Inevitably things were forgotten and never written down in the chaos of the day. With AnyList the entire family can add to the list whenever they want even if the person out shopping has already left home. They can add to the list whenever the thought occurs to them, at midnight or while at school or work. Very easy for the family to collaborate successfully to maintain an accurate grocery list.

### 4/5 — Robyn

*2026-08-24, version 7.0.4*

Lots of things to love about this app. Easy to start listing and now I’ve had time to fine-tune it, I am using it even more.

### 5/5 — Best List App around!!!!

*2026-08-23, version 7.0.4*

This app is my families favorite. Kids list grocery items we run out of. Makes the grocery store run easier. Use it to do a “To Do” list. Fantastic!!!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2026-08-22, version 7.0.4*

Have used both the free and paid versions. Great app even the free version is very useful. We use this nearly daily and have integrated it with Alexa so I can add item on the fly while I’m cooking and running low on a product. I’m going to use the deliver groceries soon via Walmart and I’m hoping that too will be a nice feature to save me time. Anyway great app highly recommended

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Used to be good

*2026-08-22, version 7.0.4*

Can’t delete items on both iPhone and MAC. Wish I would’ve never updated. Yes, I selected delete crossed off items and even got a warning saying can’t undo it. Well, it never does it so you really can undo it. I hate when there is no explanation to updates too. Just follow blindly…

### 1/5 — Alexa gone..

*2026-08-22, version 7.0.4*

This app is pretty well worthless if I can’t integrate it with Alexa

### 1/5 — This app has a major glitch!

*2026-08-22, version 7.0.4*

I share a grocery list with another member of the family. We put a long list into his phone. Then hours later, when I went to look at the list on my phone, it had not yet crossed over.. So we opened his list up again, so I could transcribe it into my phone and his list flickered and disappeared.
All that work for nothing!

### 1/5 — Too complicated to share

*2026-08-16, version 7.0.3*

Making a shared list with someone is too complicated. You can access some of my contacts but not all, I can’t change that setting, I can’t access a contact who I have shared lists with multiple times? Absolutely ridiculous. Sort your app to add friends or something, until that I’m deleting. Useless app.

### 1/5 — Incompatibility Problem

*2026-08-15, version 7.0.3*

Not blaming AnyList but it has become useless in my house which is totally Alexa ecosystem and on my devices which are all Apple. My number one reason for having it was for the ease of asking out loud for items to be added to a list, for sharing with my household and for actual shopping in a store with visible access from my phone or smart watch. Hate to rate it this low but it is useless.

### 1/5 — Needs Fixing ASAP

*2026-07-28, version 7.0.2*

I’ve been using AnyList for many years.
This latest update HIDES any item that is DOUBLE TAPPED, which is supposed to, and has always just crossed it off.
I would say it DELETES it, but after looking at it closely, it shows “6 of 8 Items Remaining” at the top, but those 2 items are definitely hidden.
If I select Delete Crossed Off Items, it will then show “6 Items”.

### 1/5 — Frustrating

*2026-07-25, version 7.0.2*

Updates will occasionally erase list memory

### 1/5 — So sad

*2026-07-14, version 7.0.2*

Brilliant App but such a chore to open it. No icon for homepage and have to start a lengthy process from original email to access it

### 1/5 — Doesn't show aisle numbers

*2026-06-29, version 7.0.2*

Pointless

### 1/5 — Effective But Crude

*2026-06-18, version 7.0.1*

Bought app to make it easier for shopping as a single elderly guy. Guess I “assumed” it would integrate with the grocery store shopping app already on my phone. It doesn’t. It’s nice but a technicality crude app that is reliant on everything web based and no compatibility with anything. “Support” is relatively good, but to be told it is incapable of doing what you bought it for should be stated in Apple Store’s App description. Cute useless app. More than a disappointment. This app has a very, Very Long way to go to be useful to me. I do wish them the best.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Dad

*2026-09-02, version 7.0.4*

Awesome app

### 5/5 — Amazing to keep yourself organized!!

*2026-09-02, version 7.0.4*

I’ve been using the app for over a year now and I love it. Not only can I create lists for everything I need, but with the paid version, I can meal plan daily, upload all my recipes and download recipes from the internet directly into the app! Goodby to scrolling for 10 minutes trying to get to the actual recipe.

When meal planning, you can click the ingredients you need and it automatically sends them to your grocery list. This app converted me from pen and paper grocery lists to having all my lists digital! Well worth it!!

As an extra bonus, I have been saving a lot of money grocery shopping. I was never a meal planner and would just buy what was on sale or what I felt like, often throwing out produce at the end of the week because it was going bad. Since meal planning, I only buy what I need and the waste has been significantly reduced.

Overall 10/10. Love the app!

### 5/5 — Best App Ever

*2026-09-01, version 7.0.4*

I use this for shopping, and so much more. I keep lists of medications, dates of medical procedures, prescriptions, etc. This app really makes my life easier!

### 5/5 — Love this App!

*2026-09-01, version 7.0.4*

Works great and the ability to share lists with family members for food shopping lists is amazing. Adding recipe items direct to the shopping list is brilliant.

### 5/5 — AnyList

*2026-09-01, version 7.0.4*

I use this app everyday.
I use it to plan my weekly menu from the recipes I add to it.
I add my recipes I want to make that week (mostly from web sights).
Then just add the ingredients I need to the included grocery list. Everything in one place.
Now I have my list ready for the store.
I would be lost without this app.

### 5/5 — Love it

*2026-08-30, version 7.0.4*

Huge fan great app please keep it awesome

### 5/5 — Get it; you absolutely love it!

*2026-08-30, version 7.0.4*

Hands down the best list app out there. The ability to sync with your spouse, and how easy it is to have repeatable list is unmatched! Plus it sync with your computer as well. Get it to make your life easier with less things forgotten. I use it for packing lists, moving lists, groceries, vacations, everything!

### 5/5 — Love it

*2026-08-30, version 7.0.4*

I love this app for my grocery list, my recipes and importing recipes and also my meal planning

### 5/5 — Get this app

*2026-08-30, version 7.0.4*

This app just keeps getting better and better. Love the scaling of recipes, takes out all the guesswork and customer service is fantastic.

### 5/5 — My favorite

*2026-08-30, version 7.0.4*

This app is so rad! It has so many features. You can modify it to make it exactly how you want it. I love the double click to cross off and item. It’s honestly incredible.
