Thankfully we set up an account on his tablet to get a bike for him…. I would make allowances for minors to be allowed to ride with parents on the parents account. Apart from that the whole experience was great the app was very simple and the bikes sturdy and cool to ride. The local one paid 3$, the guy from Ecuador 2$ and the European and me paid 8$. They are happy to take your money. There are NO refunds. ### 1/5 — Designed to frustrate, not to help *2026-03-19* Very disappointing experience. The biggest issue is that parking zones are completely hidden until after you lock the bike. I had no idea I was in a non-parking area until it was too late, and the app then directed me to the nearest station — nearly 1km away. The $10 minimum top-up also feels excessive, especially for a single short ride. There's a serious lack of transparency in this app that makes it feel more like a money grab than a genuine transport service.
