I really love the look and feel of the app. It feels professional but comfy and I actually want to use it and tweak the included EQ. Everything is very intuitive and clean. I love how convenient it is to import content. I just wish performance was more consistent especially when switching between library and player views. There seems to be a very noticeable hitch that takes a second or two to load even on a iPhone 15 pro. Overall has lots of potential and I'm looking forward to more performance improvements

I switched from Apple Music and mainly use locally stored music on my phone. I tried so many apps, Doppler, Evermusic, and so many others. None of them checked all my boxes except this Anywhere app! Great music sorting options, metadata editing, easy downloading. I even asked about other features that would be nice and they quickly updated the app with my requests! I don’t think I have even received a response from any other music player app when I asked a question. This is the best! Thanks

I’ve struggled to find an offline music player I love, but Anywhere checks all the boxes: intuitive, easy to upload my music, and now they even scrobble. I’ve spoken to their support team a few times and they are receptive to feedback and always professional. I love Anywhere!!! 💛💙

Hello, I like the app, would pay for it too but the song order is not saving in playlist created.  Maybe I’m doing something wrong but I reorder the tracks, save it and the order goes back to default.  Probably can overcome this issue with metadata, but that’s a bit clumsy.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback. The playlist order should save correctly, but the playlist sorting must first be set to Manual. Otherwise, the selected sorting mode will automatically rearrange the songs after you save.

Please set the playlist sorting to Manual, then reorder the tracks again. You do not need to change any metadata.

If the order still resets, please contact us via Settings -> Report a Bug and include a short screen recording so we can check exactly what is happening and help you.

No other one time purchase player is this sleek while having a 25 dollar lifetime purchase option AND a solid iTunes library import. It looks substantially nicer than the iTunes player due to balanced shiny reactive animations and color choices that dynamically recolor to match whatever song/album is in focus. The obligatory song-reactive animated bars show by default -take notes iTunes. Consistently will not allow me to add songs from albums I own to playlists, is more likely to fail to add them than add them.

Other Issues:
Imports playlists and albums successfully, caveat is you must rename the playlists presently. Imports music folders/files successfully. Zip files I wish auto-converted into folders with a tap when I am browsing for a song folder I just downloaded as a zip file from Bandcamp (legally purchased). Doesn’t work with Homepod, Homepod will kick the song off the speakers after about a minute. Sometimes won’t update the art of what song is playing, showing the art for a previous song instead. Does not loop individual tracks as smoothly as iTunes, possibly due to lack of iTunes’ integrated blending of tracks via transitions. Often has issue when adding individual or multiple songs where it won’t let me select them or won’t add them even when it says they are selected, forcing me to try multiple times until it arbitrarily works. Frequently freezes after editing a playlist forcing me to close and reopen the app. Will randomly invert playlists, has a button to invert them back but still annoying. Won’t play a 2-second audio file to completion, cuts it off 1 second early 100% of the time in normal use.

Verdict:
Looks really good, feels like a premium app. The developer should feel really good about their self. All the other app makers need to figure out it’s lifetime ad-free or nothing for playing purchased music.

Several of the issues you mentioned, especially:
	•	songs not reliably adding to playlists
	•	selection not working consistently
	•	freezes after editing playlists
	•	random playlist inversion
	•	short audio file cutting off early

are not expected behavior and should not be happening consistently.

We need to investigate this properly because this sounds device or library specific. Please contact us directly via Settings -> Report a Bug and include:
	•	whether these tracks are from Apple Music or local files
	•	approximate number of songs in your library
	•	if possible, one short sample file that cuts off early

About HomePod: once audio is routed to HomePod, playback is handled by iOS, not by our internal audio engine. We are aware that HomePod routing can behave inconsistently across apps, but we’ll still review it.

ZIP auto extraction and smoother single track looping are valid suggestions. We’ll review both.

Your verdict means a lot to us. You clearly understand what we’re trying to build, and that’s exactly the direction we’re going. Let’s fix the technical issues properly. Please report via Settings -> Report a Bug so we can resolve this.

If this app didnt crash out constantly it would be pretty nice but I can’t get through 2 songs in a row with out it just stopping

In der App noch schlimmer, da muss man hunderte Künstler runter scrollen, keine Wahl nach Buchstabe möglich, und nicht mal da wurden alle angezeigt. Wer programmiert sowas? Gelöscht. A waste of time

Okay I was able to buy the lifetime purchase and now I’m boosting the volume and bass both sounds sound great

Edit i just found out that this app cant play all of my music from itunes but it does import them just wont play all of my musIc

Ab 5 Alben bringt die App alles durcheinander und alles bearbeitete ist weg… Ich habe mir die Vollversion gekauft und bekomme dann so nen Schrott, echt peinlich… Diese App kann ich zumindest keinem weiterempfehlen.

대체 왜 플레이리스트에 새 음악을 추가하면 그 곡이 제일 윗순서로 배치되도록 설계되었는지 모르겠습니다. 노래방 우선예약도 아니고, 상식적으로 제일 아래로 가는게 맞지 않나요? 원하는 순서로 재배치하는것도 일인데다가, 업데이트를 하면 또 갑자기 역순으로 바뀌는 경우도 허다합니다. 이럴거면 최소한 역순 재생 옵션이라도 만들어 주세요.

**Developer response:** 현재는 새 곡이 플레이리스트의 맨 아래에 추가됩니다.

지금 설명하신 현상은 대부분 플레이리스트에 정렬이 켜져 있어서 그렇게 보이는 경우입니다. 즉, 추가 위치의 문제가 아니라 정렬 방식 때문에 그렇게 표시되는 것입니다.

I like how customizable it is. However an obvious missing feature is that you can't skip/pause/play from the lock screen. Unless I'm missing something and that's a setting you have to actually enable. Also it could be nice to add more playback options like compression, reverb etc

**Developer response:** Thanks for the review! You’re right, this is a setting you enabled. Please go to Settings -> Audio Player -> Mix Audio and disable it.

When Mix Audio is enabled, Anywhere can play alongside other apps, but iOS will not show media controls on the Lock Screen, Dynamic Island, or CarPlay, and Bluetooth/system controls are also disabled. This is clearly explained under the Mix Audio option.

If you still have any issues after disabling it, please contact us via Settings -> Report a Bug and we’ll help.

Since this is caused by an enabled setting rather than a missing feature, we hope you’ll reconsider the 4-star rating.

Compression, reverb, and additional audio effects are also planned for future updates.

This app is amazing for having a casual place just to listen to music on your phone. No ads, and premium isnt required. I heavily dislike how the player tab was locked behind premium in the most recent update though

Update: The album art issue has been resolved, all artwork is no longer duplicating itself, I’m not entirely sure what happened but it’s no longer an issue I want to thank the developers for making such an amazing app.

This music player works great aside from the duplicates that are happening with certain song titles, the artwork is showing duplicates to wrong songs, if this could be addressed this would be amazing.

Please contact us via Settings -> Report a Bug and send a few screenshots showing the duplicated artwork and affected song titles. If possible, also send one or two affected audio files so we can inspect their embedded metadata and artwork.

As a user of Power Amp on Android I’ve found it hard to find a music player with the depth of features it had. Anywhere thankfully ticked enough boxes after a long search.

The player has been reliable and is visually pleasing with a tidy and customisable UI.

One thing that would be nice to see in a future update is the option to flip the positions of the volume and seek bars, which would make the default layout similar to Apple Musics “Now Playing” UI.

Anywhere is so good - no other player is near as fully featured, flexible, and attractively designed. The only thing I really miss is ReplayGain loudness normalization (also Cover Flow I guess but the visualizers and skins are amazing).

Der Player auf dem IPhones und IPad ist Spitze. Nur die Bedienung auf der Apple Watch lässt stark zu wünschen übrig! Selbst in Wlan- und Bluetoothreichweite kommt beim Start der App die Aufforderung die Apple Watch neu zu starten - um dann alle Titel durcheinander abzuspielen zu können. Sehr ärgerlich, wenn man z.B. eine Playlist über die Watch von der Tanzfläche her abspielen möchte und das IPhone an der Musikanlage liegt....
Bitte nachbessern!
Nachtrag zum 10.12.25 :
Auch mit dem gestrigen Update hat sich auf der Apple Watch NICHTS getan. Die Aufforderung, die Uhr oder das Handy neu zu starten kommt nach wie vor!!! Daher bleibt mir nur noch das löschen übrig.
Anmerkung 27.12.25:
Der Player ist ja auch völlig in Ordnung, da gibt es nix dran auszusetzen. Ich hatte mir die App gekauft, da ich dachte, das das Zusammenspiel mit der Watch klappt. Klar hat Apple gewisse Restriktionen, aber bei „Anytune“, was zwar nicht so übersichtlich ist, klappt es reibungslos.
Update zu 15.5.26:
Player noch mal runtergeladen. Jetzt funktioniert die Bedienung auch auf der Apple-Watch reibungslos !!! Ich hoffe das es so bleibt und der Player sinnvoll weiter entwickelt wird. Von mir jetzt alle 5*👍
