AO3X is an independent reader for Archive of Our Own. Same archive you already read on, in an app that's actually built for reading it.

And the search you keep rebuilding by hand — one fandom, complete works only, 50k and up, sorted by kudos — save it as a preset and it's one tap from then on.

A reader worth spending three hours in.
Serif or sans, four themes, and real control over size, line spacing, and justification. Close the app mid-chapter, come back next week, land on the same paragraph.

Before you commit to a 200k WIP, the work page shows the rating, every archive warning, the full tag list, the summary and the stats — so nothing catches you off guard on chapter 14.

All of it stays here. Library, history, how far you got: on this device by default. Nothing to sign up for, no ads, no IDFA, no cross-app tracking.

Reading on more than one phone? An optional AO3X account can back your library and progress up and restore them on the next device. It's off until you switch it on — signing in by itself uploads nothing, and downloaded chapters never leave the device at all.

### 5/5 — The tag blocking is a game changer

Finally, I can block tags once and have them stay hidden everywhere instead of rebuilding filters for every search or fandom. It sounds like a small feature, but it makes
  browsing so much better. Honestly one of the main reasons I use this app.

We've also improved comment pagination, image viewing, and error messages, and fixed several stability issues.
