メーカー→国

さて物語の舞台はコンシューム大陸
ニンテルド帝国とセグア帝国は抗争状態にあります
この帝国の名前はゲームメーカーの名前をもじったもの
この２国はすぐわかるのですが他がわからないんですよね〜
カッパはゲーム業界には明るくないので全てが理解できる訳ではないです
ですがなんとなく「そういう設定なんだろうな〜」という認識で読むことができるので、背伸びとしてはちょうど良い負荷ですね
わかる人にはわかる！わからない人にはわからんけどわからんくても面白い！

ゲーム作品→キャラクター

この作品に登場するキャラクターにはそれぞれ参考にしているゲーム作品があります
「メーカー→国」なのでそのメーカーが出しているゲーム作品はその国のキャラクターとなっていますね
元ネタがわかるキャラクターもいればわからないキャラクターもおります
それは元ネタがないからなのかそれとも元ネタを知らないからなのか…
とりあえず主要なキャラクターは有名な作品が割り当てられているので「こいつあれじゃんね！！！」という感動はゲームにそこまで明るくなくてもできるはず

例えばニンテルドには「マルクス」というキャラクターがいます
額にはMと書いてありトカゲのペットを乗りこなす
なんのゲームが元ネタなのか果たして…？

この設定がカッパ的には一番好きなところです
ゲームのジャンルが戦闘能力になる…
細かな設定はさておき、さっくり４つに分類されます

先ほど例に出たマルクスはアクションの使い手です
元ネタがアクションの分類のゲームだからですね〜
自分の体を強化し戦うスタイルです

近接や遠距離などに能力が分かれるのはバトル漫画ではありがちなこと
ですがその能力を使っているキャラクターにはそれぞれ元ネタとなるゲーム作品が存在することがこの設定を深める働きをしています

ゲームにはジャンルがある、今となっては当たり前のことです
ですがゲームが作られ始めた当初もそれは自然だったのでしょうか
いやきっとジャンル分けするほどゲームは存在しなかったはずです
それぞれがオリジンでありその系譜を辿ることでジャンルというものが形成されていったはずですから
つまりジャンルにはそのオリジンとそれを辿るフォロワーが必ず存在するのです

ジャンルが戦闘能力になる
それはそれぞれの能力を創り出したオリジンとそれを深めたフォロワーがいるということと同義です
どこに繋がるのかどういう流れできたのか、能力1つ取ってもその道筋を読み解く楽しみがあります
他のバトル漫画ではおざなりにされてきた部分ではないでしょうか

また物語が進むにつれてこの４ジャンルに留まらない能力が登場していきます
ゲームディスクのCD化やポリゴンによる映像や通信機能など、実際のゲームの進化はジャンルに縛られるものではありません
今となっては当たり前になってしまった技術が登場した時はこんな威力だったのか…と胸が熱くなることなること

ゲームアプリをダウンロードしまくる私ですが、このアプリをインストールしてます。バトルシーンで技と技のぶつかった時、キャラが他のキャラにぶつかった時は意味わからん状態になります。

3章10話まで行っての感想。
なんかカービィとテトリスがいるんですけど！
ミョムトとギアかっこいいな
3章2話が頭から離れないよ、習い事行ってもね
