## What is AOMS TOT?

AOMS TOT app is for podiatrists, chiropractors, pedorthists, shoe-store assistants and orthotic lab technicians to take 3D image of the plantar surface of the foot, as well as the 3D images from positive and negative plaster-casts and foam-boxes. The app is built for use with the Structure Sensor by Occipital. The app is meant to be used with the AOMS systems to make foot orthoses. Because AOMS systems are widely used in the orthotic labs, AOMS TOT finds its footings in the orthotic field. The app streamlines the process of naming, scanning, file-transferring all in one package, while it is simple enough for a trained office assistant to use and to reduce errors. The scanning dimensions, outlined by the bounding box, are designed for feet in mind, to ensure highest resolution and accuracy with the sensor. Cares are taken to ensure best accuracy and to eliminate errors in the ordering process. AOMS(R) stands for ‘Automated Orthotic Manufacturing System’ and TOT stands for ‘Transformation of Technology’.

### 2.2 — 2020-11-12

Since the introductions of the iPadOS 14, our AOMS TOT app has an initialization problem which requires a reboot of the iPad from time to time. This update of Version 2.2, Build 1.0 is to improve that situation. AOMS TOT 2.0 and higher versions including this one are compatible with Mark II and with the original Structure Sensor.

### 2.1 — 2020-07-15

This upgrade of Version 2.1, Build 4.0 is to make the AOMS TOT App to be Apple's Files App compatible, so users can easily access the scanned files and share them through email or other methods at a later time. Some minor changes were made to improve the stability. AOMS TOT 2.0 and higher versions including this one are compatible with Mark II and with the original Structure Sensor.

### 2.0 — 2020-02-04

With the success of the AOMS TOT app which was used only with the original Structure Sensor since 2015, we are now updating this app to work with the newly introduced Mark II sensor as well. Without this update of AOMS TOT version 2.0, Mark II had not been compatible with AOMS TOT.

### 1.7 — 2017-05-11

With the success of the last version (v1.6) of AOMS TOT app, we are presenting a newer version (v1.7, b3.0). This version has the following new features:

1. A 2D foot image, as an option, can be attached to the file package. This image aids lab technicians in manufacturing foot orthotics. Privacy concern was taken, so the image is cropped for keeping the area of the foot and minimizing the whole camera view.

2. Newer Structure Sensor SDK version 0.6.3 is used to replace the older version 0.4.2. As result, we inherited all the improvements that have been done by Occipital. An obvious improvement is faster speed.

3. Newer Dropbox API v2 is used. As result, we inherited all the improvements that have been done by Dropbox.

4. Add ‘cc’ email address in settings to ease the work for users who need a second email address.

5. Corrected a few typos and weak points in the previous version 1.6.
