They’ve done this to me on 2 out of the 3 things I’ve ordered through them. Avoid ### 1/5 — Shady *2026-01-30, version 3.0.15* I made a purchase of an office chair. The chair was absolute garbage and I left a negative review on their website about the chair itself. I rated Aosom high but the product itself was rated at 1 star. Their customer service reached out and offered a refund which I accepted. That’s the right thing to do and I appreciated it. They asked me to complete a survey and when I went to do that, the shady things started. The first option on the survey form is “I am satisfied with the result, so I agree to hide the review.” Trying to bribe me to hide the review because they did the right thing and gave a refund that they initially offered. The second option is “I am satisfied with the result, so I prefer to change my ratings and comment.” That option gives you the option for a new star rating, title, and comments. Great, right? Except you can’t rate it less than 4 stars. The final option is “I’m not satisfied.” I was, however I wasn’t going to change my rating on a garbage product so I chose to do nothing. Today I got an email reminder about the survey which reminded me how shady they were and prompted this review. They should be ashamed of themselves. If they’re shady with reviews, what else are they doing that is shady? ### 1/5 — Bad Experience *2025-10-24, version 3.0.6* I purchased a dog house for $70. Few days later I found the same house for $35 on Amazon. I called to customer service and asked if they can do anything to reduce the price at least little bit. Some companies have policies to return an item for free. Some companies can match the price or maybe have some coupon for $10-$20 or give $10%-15% off. This company has nothing. Customer service hardly speaks English. One guy thought I want to block my account. Another one spoke with me like he just got up from a bed. Third - I couldn’t hear a word because of the background noise. Maybe it is ok to buy some items there, but before you do just be careful because you will stuck with your item and you will pay for a shipping if you want to send an item back to the company. One of the customer service guys even told me with that low kind of voice slowly -you.. will…pay…for ..the .. shipping. Anyway, this company does nothing for you. Good luck shopping. ### 1/5 — Pathetic Experience *2025-04-30, version 2.2.33* You place an order and get a confirmation on order and on the day you are expecting delivery, when you call them they are like it is showing that order is on hold and we have no clue who did it. So, unless I had called, I would just be waiting for nothing for the order. Wouldn’t recommend trusting this app/platform for your purchases. Missed a gift timeline that I was planning for the present. ### 1/5 — Inconsistent payment methods *2025-04-24, version 2.2.32* The app is useless - you’ll have to use different payment methods for different products, there’s no consistency, you’re better off going to the original manufacturer of the product you’re interested in as Aosom is just a middle man. I had my first order go through successfully, the product was delivered, and then when I wanted to order something else using the exact same payment method and approach, the app denied me and completely stone walled me with no explanation as to why. Completely inconsistent and useless as a result unless you have 20 different bank accounts or credit cards. Such a disappointment. After 5 days got an email saying the delivery has been delayed due to demand so I went out to buy another tree. Tried to cancel the order but then suddenly it was delivered . Less than 24 hours after the email. I’m trying to return the tree but they just keep offering me silly discounts 10 then 15% off which equates to less than £5. All I want is to return the tree Now my emails are being ignored so I’ve no idea what’s happening.
