The cameras work pretty decent for our needs and so far the issues we’ve had aren’t really much fault on the cameras, but rather some user error and bad luck. We had some difficulties during setup, as we didn’t realize our WiFi signal couldn’t reach outside the metal exterior walls of our barndominium, so the cameras were struggling to pick up a signal after mounting and would freeze or loose connection often due to no WiFi signal. We had bought a WiFi extender as a temporary solution that helps amplify the signal just enough at the moment to reach all 4 cameras better at each corner of the house outside, and is currently what we have been using/working with so far until we might be able to purchase a better WiFi extender or find a different solution to allow the WiFi to reach outside the home un-interrupted. When everything is running smoothly, the live video feed and recordings are nice and decently clear, but not high enough quality to make out details if not maybe within 20ft of the cameras view. We have ours on motion sensing and love how it tracks the movement detected. Finicky with poor WiFi though as it will struggle to connect/detect motion. Appreciate the ability to use local memory on an SD card rather than be forced to purchase a subscription service, and the cameras themselves have been pretty durable, only having one damaged during a hail storm so the solar panel can’t be used for charging, but otherwise still works great! Definitely a pretty neat camera system all in all, but also definitely not suited for every home situation/setup without some preemptive planning beforehand! ### 3/5 — Faille de sécurité … *2026-08-14* L’appli est bien en mode gratuit . Elle envoie des notification dès que quelqu’un est détecté . Le direct est de bonne qualité . Même la nuit on distingue sans probleme . Toutefois il manque une option dans les réglages car ces caméras ont un gros défaut . Si on met détecte tout , elles détectes même une mouche qui passe devant . Ce qui est vite agaçant voir devient une source de stress vu les notifications que l’on reçoit . Si on ne met que les humains pas de soucis sauf que les véhicules ne sont pas du tout détectés ! Et ça c’est une faille car il suffit que quelqu’un s’introduise en véhicule en passant devant la caméra sans jamais être détecté par elle . Il faudrait une option qui permet de détecter les véhicules , voitures , camion . Afin de combler cette faille ! Honest to God. I setup 6 outside, 5 inside and one doorbell camera in less than 2 hours. The picture is in color and looks excellent. Have one about 250ft from the base and ZERO issues. Truly a great value for anyone. Second setup we have at another location is the two split camera motorized solar powered. APP works well and is easy to use. ### 2/5 — Gerade so ausreichend. *2026-08-05* Die Aosu App erfüllt ihren eigentlichen Hauptzweck ohne Fehl und Tadel: Die Verbindung zu den Sicherheitskameras steht meist stabil, Live-Streams werden meist verlässlich geladen und Push-Benachrichtigungen bei Bewegungserkennungen kommen zügig an. Technisch und funktional macht die Anwendung das, was sie soll. Das große Manko liegt jedoch in der Benutzeroberfläche und der visuellen Gestaltung. Das Design wirkt teils veraltet, unübersichtlich und nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Einstellungen sind teilweise tief in verschachtelten Menüs versteckt, Schrifttypen und Abstände wirken uneinheitlich und die visuelle Hierarchie führt dazu, dass wichtige Funktionen nicht intuitiv auffindbar sind. Auch die Anpassung an moderne Displays (wie flüssige Animationen oder ein durchdachtes Dark-Mode-Konzept) lässt zu wünschen übrig. Auch die Anpassung an iOS27 (Liquid Glass) findet meiner Meinung nach kaum statt. Außerdem weist die Anwendung viele Grammatikalische Fehler auf. Zudem ist hinzuzufügen, dass die App gar nicht auf das iPad angepasst wurde und ebenfalls sollte eine der wichtigsten Funktionen sein, über PC / Windows auf die Kameras zugreifen zu können. Das funktioniert ebenfalls nicht. Abgesehen davon könnte man durchaus die Multi-View-Anzeige maximieren, sodass man mehr als vier Kameras gleichzeitig streamen kann. Die Entwickler sollten dringend Ressourcen in ein umfassendes Redesign und die Implementierung einer angemessenen Darstellung auf Windows und dem iPad investieren, um das visuelle Erlebnis an die solide technische Basis anzupassen. Da die Anwendung eine Bewertung von 3,6 Sternen aufweist, wird nur eine durchschnittliche Benutzerzufriedenheit geschafft. ### 5/5 — Great products *2026-08-05* Customer support and using the camera app is very helpful and satisfying. The motion detection and recording are extremely unreliable. It misses and fails to save videos of people walking in front of the camera very often. I tested it myself by repeatedly walking in front of the camera, and most of the time there was no recording saved. For a security camera, this is a serious problem. What is the point of having a security camera if it cannot reliably record people when they pass by? Another thing I don’t like is the app. It advertises some features as free, but when you try to use certain functions, you are asked to pay for an expensive subscription. If someone comes in driveway to deliver a package camera detects them and moves completely in the opposite direction ( doesn’t capture the event). A lot of false notifications all day long. One of the camera just totally stopped working, getting an error saying “ camera is offline”. Cameras are brand new out of the box. Kind of regret buying this brand. Also the app support is not working. ### 1/5 — Absolutely Horrendous *2026-07-31, version 5.2.50* This has to be on the worse camera system I have and I only had 1 (which is this) the poorly designed menu and with straightforward options hidden. Having to find it each time and the camera menu and the fact we need to pay a subscription while already having the camera paid from. Is just absolutely insane to me, not only that no subscription means no auto recording 🤗. No rewinds 🤗, you have to manually watch the camera and hit record and it’s annoying when you get 3 cameras and a life 😬. Cons: the camera doesn’t save any videos unless you walk directly in front of it. I have mine in my backyard, it doesn’t alert or save videos of me walking in the backyard whatsoever. In direct view of the camera. I’d say it alerts and saves footage when I’m no further than 5 feet from the camera. And that’s still not a guarantee. We got this camera in case our neighbor threw anything in the backyard to harm our dogs as there has been threats of that. Unfortunately the camera wouldn’t save any footage if that were to happen. Aosu’s is definitely the best designed one. It’s easy to review video events and delete them. I love the way it can be set to sleep and wake up at certain times.
