### 4/5 — Outstanding !

*2017-04-15*

Very helpful. Thanks to whoever made it.
I would appreciate more decks regarding Evolutionary Psychology and Critical Psychology. Thanks :)

### 5/5 — Makes studying fun!

*2016-11-14*

I love this app! The ratings help me to track my progress. Very impressed.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2016-11-14*

I am psyched that I found this app!
😳 😂

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2016-08-29*

I am taking AP Psych this upcoming school year, and have taken regular level psych in the past. This is really helping me prepare for not only my class, but the test. The subject is fascinating to me and I'm amazed with this app!

### 4/5 — works

*2016-08-27*

it helps so much the app really does work

### 5/5 — Amazing! Definitely worth the price!!

*2016-04-27*

This app has really helped me relearn for AP psychology! The way the questions are posed allows for recall rather than just recognition which is easier as in multiple choice. It really helps the information stay encoded in long term memory. It's helped so much that I'm even using psychological terms in this review!! It's definitely worth the price and I find it more effective than an AP review book because your brain is more active while you are reviewing instead of just reading. A great app I would definitely recommend to anyone!

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2016-04-06, version 2.20141128*

I've only started the first part. It's so much better than reading vocab from papers. I love this. I love seeing my progress!!

### 4/5 — Pretty dang good

*2015-10-01, version 2.20141128*

I bought the psychology one and it's great I wish some had pictures or diagrams. It's a good way to learn and search feature is good if you want to search the many questions and answers

### 5/5 — Loving it

*2015-08-15, version 2.20141128*

Great help

### 5/5 — What an AMAZING app!!

*2015-07-21, version 2.20141128*

Wow, this app is super helpful and is definitely worth buying. Highly recommended!!!!

### 5/5 — 5 stars for my 5 score

*2015-05-05, version 2.20141128*

This app was super helpful! Going in on test day I was very confident and calm, all thanks to brain scape!

### 5/5 — As satisfied as can be.

*2015-05-04, version 2.20141128*

Just literally got out of the testing room and immediately thought of rating this app five stars.

### 5/5 — Very helpful but expensive

*2015-05-03, version 2.20141128*

It's very thorough and complete. Unique from any other notecard app because it asks you from a scale how much you understand a topic and then helps you review it depending on the level of understanding. Very helpful when studying for the ap psych exam when you aren't taking the class. However it's expensive, you have to spend 20 bucks to use all the of the note cards.

### 5/5 — Great study tool!

*2015-04-06, version 2.20141128*

Great free app, until you want to unlock all the decks. And while $20 is a bit steep for flashcards, I am very happy with my new very thorough and accurate AP study tool. Definitely better than going to a tutoring session for five times that much money and getting maybe an hour. This is a great tool that you can use over and over again. Great app!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — ugh

*2019-05-23, version 3.20180228*

can only study the history of psychology unless you wanna pay $30 for premium to unlock all the study materials.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2018-09-03*

95% of the cards are locked and they ask for tons of personal information first. Waste of time.

### 1/5 — Agreed

*2013-01-18, version 2.20130111*

Lame deceitful business practice. Why not just be upfront?

### 1/5 — Deceitful

*2013-01-17, version 2.20130111*

AppShopper tracked the price of this app showing that it move from $19.95 down to free. The reality is that the price didn't change at all. This app is a demo that only allows you to use it six times then you have to pay for $19.95. Nowhere in the description does it show that there is in app purchase for $19.95, and gives you the impression that the app is actually free. This is clearly bait and switch, using the Apple store to play games. While I am surprised that Apple didn't catch the in app purchase, it bothers me more that this company plays games with their prices.

Do yourself a favor, look elsewhere for study apps. I rated this one star regardless of how many stars you see.

### 1/5 — It's not really free

*2013-01-17, version 2.20130111*

Only 7 free trial, you need to pay $19.99 to unlock the app.

### 2/5 — Sad

*2021-08-21*

Iota just such a sad vibe like how are these dull colors supposed to engage me anddd have all the flash cards locked for the most cards. Like my first unit was cognition so I either would’ve had to pay $20 or reviewed 1094 cards like what

### 2/5 — Price

*2020-02-27*

I am I student running in a trimester schedule and need something that I can study for while I’m not in the class. I was hoping this app would be it but you got Keith the price. $20 dollars are you serious! The content is great and it’s all stuff I’ve learned but I can’t pay $20 for the entire app, it’s ridiculous, It would be great if you could offer more than just one set and a preview for the free version, or just make it free, which I understand you can’t do but it would be great.

### 2/5 — Waiting in Suspence

*2015-04-27, version 2.20141128*

I downloaded this app, tried to log in with my Facebook account, and a pop up said it is having trouble creating my account. I tried logging in with my email instead, but the same pop up came back. It has been a while now and it's still not working. I'm giving it 2 stars and I'm being generous.

### 2/5 — Disappointed

*2014-11-25, version 2.20141023*

Shouldn't have gotten the app

### 3/5 — great app for studying

*2015-05-04, version 2.20141128*

I love studying with this app, however I had gotten about 30-40% mastery in a subject and it erased all my progress, which stressed me out. Please make sure this doesn't happen again.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great Review

*2021-03-11*

I’ve only started using this, but this is very comprehensive!

### 5/5 — IMPORTANT

*2017-09-15*

The app works perfectly, but there's only English.
Spanish and French will be perfect. Thanks!!!

### 5/5 — Just wow!!!

*2017-07-12*

Literally not even in high school and yet understand all of it. It has a way of coming together. It's a great head start, not just for students in a psychology class. Or even a college class!

### 5/5 — App

*2017-06-30*

Cool app

### 5/5 — Great study tool

*2017-04-27*

This app is great if you are starting to study even 2 days before the AP exam, got me a 5! Great tool and an easy layout too 👌🏻

### 5/5 — Amazing app!

*2017-03-24*

I took psychology in school before I dropped out. I wanted something more to help study with my online classes and this app is perfect! It gives me more detailed information that I didn't get to yet in school and it helps tremendously with the flash cards. I definitely recommend this app

### 5/5 — Productive learning app!

*2017-03-03*

Very helpful. Thank you developer!

### 5/5 — This app is really useful!l

*2017-02-24, version 3.20160812*

This app is structured very well and simply, it also constructively teaches of many different and useful psychological terms and phrases.
This app is definitely worth investing your time into, especially if you're looking into or currently studying psychology.

### 5/5 — Great

*2017-02-23*

This app already has flashcards made. It is easy to use and a great way to study. You do have to purchase the rest of the decks, but you can go online for more option and you can make your own flash cards. I would recommend this app to those who are in a psychology class or for people who merely want to learn more on their own.

### 5/5 — Not just a one time app!

*2016-12-22*

The app closely follows my Psych textbook and adds information to enhance my learning. I love the scoreboard section and streak dynamic. It definitely gives more of an incentive to keep coming back to master the notecards.
