## Newest reviews (16 of 37)

### 1/5 — Horribly designed

*2022-06-15, version 1.2.0*

App is extremely un-user-friendly. I have had a glitch in my auto pay several times. Then when you call them to rectify the issue you stay on hold for an hour.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2021-11-09, version 1.2.0*

Got charged twice when the balance was already 0. Useless customer service and will not own up to their mistake.

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2021-10-01, version 1.2.0*

This app looks like it was put together in one day. It’s a simple and easy app to use, but it’s TOO simple. You can’t split payments amongst other residents in your unit. It also does not give a breakdown/itemized bill for what you are paying. This management group recently purchased the apartment complex I live in, and honestly I’ve been very unimpressed so far due to other issues I’ve experienced with them aside from this mobile app.

### 1/5 — Glitchy and Hard to Use

*2021-09-25, version 1.2.0*

This app is incredibly difficult for me to use. I just see a balance without knowing what month I’m getting charged rent for, and the user interface is clunky. I get stuck on certain web pages, forced to close the app and start over.

### 1/5 — Same Experience

*2021-08-18, version 1.2.0*

I used this app and was double charged for rent and utilities. I was not able to get my funds returned for 12 days. I was put in a tough and stressful spot due to the app not doing what I was supposed to do.

### 1/5 — Crap

*2021-06-29, version 1.2.0*

This app is the worst. I now live in a “nice” apartment and have to use this app to pay my rent. This wouldn’t be a problem if the app was well designed. It crashes, has lots of bugs, and doesn’t let you change your password or reset it when you forget it or let you retrieve your username if by chance it gets forgotten. It says it has those features but all they do is pop up with errors or completely fail to send the email to resent your password. I’ve lived in “crappy” apartments that has apps that were WAY better desisted than this. If I could give this app a zero star I would.

### 1/5 — Do not trust

*2020-08-01, version 1.2.0*

I downloaded this app when I first moved into my apartment. Right out the gate, as soon as I made my first rent and utilities payment, the app charged me twice for rent. Upon calling the Apartment Assistant apps customer service number I was told they were working on getting me refunded and that I would see the money soon. It has been over a month since they double-charged me and so far I have called them again (twice), was told to wait 7-10 business days for the money to appear, then told to call my bank. Still no refund and I had to get my apartments regional manager involved. Very disappointed because this app seemed like a good concept but it’s clear that there are still a lot of bugs in the system. I do not trust this app and probably never will.

### 1/5 — Charged to make a payment

*2020-07-27, version 1.2.0*

App charges you $33 convenience fee to make a payment. Even when utilizing automatic payments.

And if you miss a payment, you’re charged a hefty fee. Eithe way, they’re going to get their money. Connor Group is a hack.

### 1/5 — Unable to launch App!

*2020-03-26, version 1.2.0*

App is crashing

### 1/5 — Hot garbage

*2020-02-24, version 1.2.0*

By far the worst app ever. Have had issues with it multiple times thus far. No confirmation emails for anything so make sure you screen shot everything. Made a payment that the app told me processed but the payment never went through and I am having to pay late fees because of it.

### 1/5 — How Hard Could If Be...

*2020-01-16, version 1.2.0*

to show itemization of what’s owed and even the due date? The least information provided of any payment system ever developed.

### 1/5 — Poor App

*2020-01-04, version 1.2.0*

2/3rds of my maintenance requests have never been pushed through to the front office. I make my rent payment early every month, and it shows an outstanding balance within a week of me making my payment. I take screen shots of my payment history every month because I don’t trust this app

### 1/5 — Double payment - eviction

*2019-09-23, version 1.2.0*

This app withdrew rent from my checking account twice in a month. After disputing the second charge my landlord is threatening to evict me. Scummy app. Scummy landlord.

### 1/5 — Garbage App just like garbage luxury apartments

*2019-07-26, version 1.2.0*

THIS APP IS STRAIGHT GARBAGE. Lost password, cool. You don’t get an email to reset it they just let you get frustrated over it. Head to the office to ask questions for help because I’ve tried to contact literally ANYONE to help me, and pay and the woman says “hmm you’ll have call them” call who? Who do I call? The phone number is where to reset your login info? BUELLER BUELLER BUELLER. This is terrible.

### 1/5 — No itemized receipts, poor optimization, extremely poor management

*2019-06-12, version 1.2.0*

App does not let you see for what are you paying. Same thing with management too. You do not know where money is going to. They never provide any proof of payment. So if you are using this app that means you are tenant at McCauly crossing then I am sorry for you. Stay away with this so called “Luxury” Apartments and its apps like this. I had very negative experience with them.

### 1/5 — Needs To Split Rent

*2018-12-05, version 1.1.1*

I Iive with a roommate and we split rent. However, the app doesn’t have an option to split the amount due between the two of us. When I submit a check to my building, it often doesn’t get cashed until the middle of the month. The app is therefore my preferred method of payment, or it would be if I was able to pay only my half of the rent. Please fix!!!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No receipt breakdown

*2024-05-07, version 1.4.3*

Needs itemized receipt and app seems like it intentionally is made to not show you a bill breakdown. I’ll have to go into the office a get it printed instead.

### 1/5 — Can I give ZERO stars?

*2024-04-02, version 1.4.2*

Just moved into my apartment so this the first month to use the app. FYI - customer service is NOT 24/7. 9-5:30 EST. Second, app keeps crashing. When it does pull up, won’t recognize my login information. Just ridiculous! How are we suppose to be on time with an app like this?

### 1/5 — Dog water app designed by lobotomized monkeys

*2024-04-01, version 1.4.2*

This app doesn’t really have auto pay, it has “scheduled” pay. That means it your charges change at all it will charge whatever is set.

This also means you cannot auto pay two charges, if your apartment charges utilities separately

On top of this is a charge is made for a bill that is smaller than the scheduled amount it will just go through and charge the larger amount. If you catch it after the charge goes through and try to correct it the app errors out as you can’t:

Cancel auto pay without canceling the scheduled charge (that just went through)

You can’t cancel the bank because the auto pay

If your apartment uses this service they are cutting corners and you should run

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2024-01-04, version 1.4.2*

I set up an autopay and it failed to process the payment on time. 4 days later I found out the payment failed, they charged me $160 late fee and didn’t notify me.

I reverted back to manually submitting payments through the app but I have to re-enter banking details every month. So stupid!!! If I could give this app and the Connor group that owns it a negative rating I would!!

### 1/5 — Awful app

*2023-12-31, version 1.4.2*

This app is terrible. Plus you get charged over $40 extra every time you submit a payment. There also are 0 descriptions for any of the charges or anything.

### 1/5 — Constant Issues

*2023-11-27, version 1.4.0*

This is a horrible app. It always freezes or won’t load all the way. I have to delete it and reload it anytime I need to use it.

### 1/5 — Someone should reprogram this app

*2023-03-02, version 1.3.12*

It does not work most of the time. I reinstall it every time if I have to use it to for something. They have an option to manage autopay. But the only thing I can do is delete my method of payment.

I paid my dues on Feb 24th. Everything became $0. Generally when the bill is $0, you won’t be charged again. I was charged again on Feb 28th. Reading the reviews, I have no idea how many days I have to be behind this to get my money back. Any high school kid can create a better app than this.

### 1/5 — Poor option

*2022-12-16, version 1.3.11*

The app will only allow you to make one payment for the full amount. As we have always paid 3 times a month before our complex was bought out this is extremely inconvenient. As such we will opt to use money orders several times a month instead of using the app. Make it possible to choose the amount you pay, otherwise this is worthless to our family.

### 1/5 — Can’t split, not itemized, TRASH

*2022-12-05, version 1.3.9*

My apartment building was just bought by a new holding company and switched to this app. Terrible terrible app, doesn’t allow for splitting of rent between roommates, doesn’t provide itemized charges, looks like it was programmed in a middle school computer science class… Trash app for trash landlords

### 1/5 — Trash

*2022-10-31*

Doesn’t let you do any itemized payments for rent if more than one person is living with you. You have to pay all in one payment and do venmo or cash app to pay each other. The maintenance part is helpful - but paying your monthly bill(s) is a pain. Not a fan at all.

## Most praised reviews (5 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Not sure what's up with the bad reviews?

*2019-09-09, version 1.2.0*

I've used this app since I moved to my apartment, and I'm not sure why everyone seems to hate it. It's straight forward and easy to use. It doesn't seem to have any bugs or issues. You log in using your Resident Bill Pay information, so it's easy to remember. You can pay your rent and make maintenance requests. 1660 Peachtree has done a great job of quickly getting someone out to my place to take care of any problems I've had every time. Thanks!

### 4/5 — First Positive Review

*2021-07-02, version 1.2.0*

Haven’t had any problems with it so far. Sure, it is simple app, but I haven’t had any issues. The picture of the APT complex I live in is mis-centered and cut off. This looks bad. the UI is simple, but also unattractive. The payment function works for me and I have not had an issue with it. Frankly, the payment system is actually better than the previous system my apartment used. The payment system is what I really care about, so all in all I am very pleased. Good job, but please do make some improvements at least on the Interface. The huge green bars on the bottom look cheap and dated. The picture of the apartment should at least be cropped and centered. These should be simple starting improvements.

### 4/5 — Very Basic

*2017-04-30, version 1.0.2*

It'll let you pay rent, request a maintenece service and email receipts. That is really all you need right. My only complaint about the app is I wish it would show an itemized statement befiore you pay insteard of hopeing it is correct. Maybe thats just me but I like to know where my money is going.

### 3/5 — Feature add ons

*2024-01-14, version 1.4.2*

Please add a feature to split rent more than just 50/50. I pay rent 60/40. Also allow pictures to be uploaded when making service requests

### 2/5 — Locks up

*2023-03-27, version 1.3.12*

My current apt requires payment using this. I often have to delete it and reinstall to use. There is a trick to getting utilities on one payment with the rent.
