I don’t care to waste my time like this, but this app is incredibly inaccurate and falsely advertised. I’m in a bind needing to find my next apartment and was not having the best luck with Zillow or apartments.com so I thought I’d try this 4.7 rated app which claims to be customizable due to your preferences. I put a specific price on what I could afford and limits to where I would like to live. After the app does the “creating the most accurate matches for you” bs I get recommended apartments $1,000 over my budget and complexes in a state 10,000 miles away. Complete waste of my time I hope someone see’s this and saves themselves some time. ### 1/5 — Useless *2026-08-06, version 11.2.0* This app needs a feature where you can click “strict budget” or just say outright “hey we can’t find anything in your parameters” instead of “there’s nothing in your budget but here’s a house that’s $2,000 above your budget!” And also are the only apartments for view ones from rental companies? You can’t post private listings on here? ### 1/5 — Not lucky *2026-08-05, version 11.2.0* I can’t find anything ### 1/5 — Only one with scammers I’ve seen *2026-07-31, version 11.2.0* It may be just my bad luck but this has been THE ONLY app I’ve had people reach out after I contacted a listing and proven to me that they are scammers looking to get my info. FYI, if you don’t already know this, don’t “pre-apply” to any apartments unless you’ve already met this person face to face and seen the apartment. And that’s not how I knew they were scammers btw. It’s too long to leave in a review. App needs a “Report Listing” function. ### 1/5 — Sends Contact Information *2026-07-29, version 11.2.0* On multiple occasions Apartment List has sent my contact info over to apartments when I never agree to it being shared. I click don’t notify the apartment and it sends my info. Recently I only view an apartment and it sent me info to the apartment complex; I wasn’t even viewing it for myself. ### 1/5 — Saturated with scammers *2026-07-27, version 11.1.1* Be careful using this app. There are many scammers that will email you directly requesting you to send them the security deposit before signing anything or even seeing the fake property they listed. Same song and dance across so many fake listings. I’m not fooled but other users are still put at risk. There’s no option to report these issues. 1 star. Try other apps that actually care about user safety and don’t use bots to give themselves good reviews on the app store ### 1/5 — Bad Apartments Only *2026-07-27, version 11.1.1* Check the google reviews of any of the apartments they suggest and you’ll see it’s all the low rated apartments and they try to sell it. They always show the “amenities” first, then the actual apartments and it’ll say luxury for places with a 3.2 rating. MAKE SURE TO CHECK THE GOOGLE REVIEWS before you actually go with a place. ### 1/5 — Zero stars *2026-07-24, version 11.1.1* All positive reviews are bots. This is spamware ### 1/5 — Horrible *2026-07-23, version 11.1.1* The amount of questions it asks before you can even look is super annoying not to mention 95% of the cities I type in don’t even come up as possible locations. Even when I found a city near by where we wanted to live nothing came up. You wanna tell me there’s zero listings in hainsesport nj?? YEAH RIGHT, I looked it up on apartments.com and there’s TONS ### 1/5 — Lower income housing *2026-07-19, version 11.1.1* I see y’all offer such wonderful apartments, but also can also put in for low income people because we are struggling as well and we would also like a place to stay where we won’t get murdered or shot. We just want to live like everybody else in a good neighborhood. And safety for our children of the future. They always know you by your first name! I enjoy the way they bring us together for entertainment and so many social great gatherings to do. It’s run so smoothly and you have so many wonderful friends here to have chats with. We pretty much watch out for each other. You always feel at home living here.
